All I really know about the seres is that its about a boy who turns into a girl whenever he's splashed by... warm water, I think? I see tapes of it whenever I go to work.

It was also created by Rumiko Takahashi, who created InuYasha.

Ranma 1/2 is a comedy about a boy named Ranma and his father Genma who both fell into cursed springs called Nan'nichuan while in China. The legend goes that whoever falls in these springs will turn into who or what died in the spring last.

So basically everytime cold water is thrown on Ranma he becomes a girl, and if cold water is thrown on Genma he becomes a panda. Hot water reverses the curse though.

The funny part about the series is that most of Ranma's rivals and friends end up falling in the springs too, and end up being able to turn into things just like Ranma.

The other plot revolves around the fact that Ranma and this girl named Akane were forced into an engagement. Sad thing is, they really seem to dislike each other, but when other guys hit on her Ranma becomes jealous and/or has to save her.

Don't mind me, I'm a huge fan of this series.
