What is/will be your team?

alright well I am new to this black and white thing...I don't know any of the pokemon heh.
I chose Snivy as my starter. Anyone know some good pokemon to go on my team that can satisfy Surf or Fly HMs? =P

Edit: from just searching around so far, I think I will add axew, krookodile, and chandelure to my team, so I guess I have 4 confirmed pokemon I want, just 2 more than can fly or surf

Good Surfing Pokemon: Seismitoad, Carracosta, Jellicent
Good Flying Pokemon: Sigilyph, Archeops, Braviary/Mandibuzz

When it comes to Carracosta and Archeops, they are fossil Pokemon, so you can only get one of them.

Not to mention, HM's aren't entirely necessary in this Generation. You're just as well off if you just keep a lame Pokémon in your box that can use those. Just thought I'd point that out.

What about this Timid nature Panpour I just got from the Dreamyard? it any good? (Btw, I was VERY surprised getting it from a person, I was like o.o!!!) Would it be a good water type/surfer?

Either Jellicent or Panpour Im deciding on for water type =P

surf and fly are awesome. So is streighth and waterfall. cut is useless

oh and SC: what did yoy think about trick room?

Eh, I don't really focus on speed much when I battle, so I don't use Trick Room.

It helps when you have a slow moving Pokemon on your team. Speed gives the other party the upperhand.

A psychic type, a dark type and an ice type. Maybe Reuniclus, Krookodile and Vanilluxe.

Yeah, I just don't want him/her missing out on a Pokémon he/she REALLY wanted just for the sake of having someone who can Fly/Surf.

Also, despite what others say, I had fun using my monkeys in Black and White, and they did all right. So yes, feel free to use that Panpour should you like. And Snivy is a very fun Pokémon once it's at a higher level.

The stance I've always had on the monkeys is that they aren't bad Pokemon, it's just that there are other Pokemon of their type that are considerably better than them.

Jellicent is better than Panpour. Panpour is about average, but when I used one, I wasn't impressed. Keep in mind, though, that you can only get Jellicent (or its basic form, Frillish) by surfing, so keep Panpour around for a while if you intend on getting Jellicent.

I would also like to suggest you catch a Darumaka once you get to Route 4. That Pokemon is especially amazing once it evolves.
