What level before Elite Four?

Brocko18

Training telekinetic
Just wondering how people raise their Pokemon. So before you reach the Elite Four for the First time, what level are your Pokemon usually at, and how many in ur party? Right now, I'm still training before my first Elite Four challenge. I have a party of six pokemon, well balanced, and they're all lv. 66 or higher.

I usually had 5 around 60 that were actually trained.. Then one cheated 100 for the end. I don't care, I just want it out of the way tbh.

Like you, I usually have all my Pokèmon at least Level 60 for the first and for the second I have them at least Level 70.

oh, it was a close call for me.

Here's my team:

Butterfree: Level 70
Pikachu: Level 54
Blastoise: Level 53
Ch'Ding: Level 10
Sandslash: Level 23
Primeape: Level 54

So yeah, as you can see, I am under-levelled, but somehow, I managed to beat the elite 4, using butterfree and blastoise mainly.

P.S. Blastoise with ice beam is good.

I know, I know..
You'll NEED an ice pokemon, no matter what, or at least an Ice Beam. I had to train my Spheal from level 26 to 50, because I just kept losing with no ice.

I usually go 50-60, depending on the Pokemon.

All my pokemon were at 50 the first time I played it. I battled every single trainer once.

Wow, you people are way over-doing it. This time I had a team of 6 pokemon at lvl. 47, and I felt I did a horrible job of it. I normally do it at 45.

true it is kind of overdoing it but we simply dont want to have to do it again

While that may be your motivation, mine is that I hate trying to raise my Pokemons' levels in Victory Road; and if I don't have to, then I won't.

BTW, my team was:
Jolteon (used him against everyone but Bruno)
Dugtrio (didn't use him much)
Hitmonlee (didn't use him much)
Tentacruel (used him a lot, he had Ice Beam)
Charizard (used him a lot)
Kadabra (didn't use him much)

Twilit Dragoon

I usually have them at least at Lvl 60 or so. Or I trade a Lvl 100 Pokemon over.

For the first time, I had pokemon that was in the lower to mid 60s. I am very meticulous when it comes to training.

I have five Pokemon lv50-70, and then I get a lv5 Pokemon for the heck of it. It seems to work out fine for me, since I have a lot of items that I bring along.
