Also someone whose team doesn't consist of ubers or legendaries. You can use ordinary pokémon and still have power! You don't need to depend on some legendary pokémon!

P.S. Also someone who can master the art of berry blending! ;)

Übers/legendaries are not cheap, as the über metagame actually does take a lot of skill. Besides, some legendaries and übers actually suck when they are given their movesets by stupid trainers.

About the berry blending, I don't think it's as much about that as it is knowing which berries to make into pokeblocks, and which pokeblocks to give for optimal contest success.
