Wait, are you really suggesting that they make a pokemon species unobtainable in any way for an entire generation? That seems really unlikely.

I'm not really understanding these suggestions either for adding quite weak/inferior moves to the TM list, like Razor Leaf, Submission and Mega Drain. I'd rather TMs were reserved for moves that a pokemon could conceivably want to keep in its moveset to the end of the game.

Not for one generation, but just in a pair of games. They could also make that Pokémon postgame exclusive. But since Leech Life got a buff and became a TM in Gen 7, I'm expecting something similar to happen to another move. Since not much has been done to Constrict and so few Pokémon learn it, maybe it will unexpectedly become a TM with a base power buff and with both a chance to reduce Speed and to flinch.

You know what I liked as an early game, but also somewhat viable option TM, Bullet Seed. Bring that back as a TM please.

  • Submission (however I'd also like to see it buffed)
  • Dig (it was strange to see it gone)
  • Curse
  • Giga Drain (as a TM instead of a tutor move)
  • Vacuum Wave (as a Tutor move)
  • Avalanche
  • Play Rough (as a Tutor move)
Also, Nasty Plot and Air Slash are moves I'd like to see become TMs.

You do know that Water Shuriken hits 2 to 5 times and has priority right? How broken do you want it to be? You're looking at something that'd be on average quite a lot more powerful than Extreme Speed, especially with additions like STAB and people potentially using Araquanid to Entrainment Water Bubble on the Shuriken user.

I reckon Blaze Kick as a TM/tutor move would have a really interesting move distribution, that would be a fun addition.

I guess but the Fairy type needs more TMs. If you include the LGPE TMs, there are only two which is the lowest number for any typing excluding the retired ??? Curse TM.
