What Next Saga?

Ok as we're all aware of there is two new pokemon games being created by gamefreak one is pokemon ranger which is a totally new game from the pokemon universe and we're still not sure what exactly you do in it. The other one is Pokemon D/P this one is the next progression in the series like R/B/Y to G/S/C to R/S/E. The few details that have been revealled suggests that this one will be very different and break the typical pokemon model. Last we heard they were still deciding if you can only have up to 6 pokemon and if you there is still the typical 3 starters top choose from. There are things we do know though. The 9th movie is to be based on pokemon ranger and right now there is a magna series that has ash, may, brock, and max in some sort of pokemon ranger saga. Most of us assumed it would follow D/P but, things are hinting towards pokemon ranger. So do you think the next series will be based upon D/P, Ranger or do you think the writers will combine elements of both games into the next saga like they did with the current battle frontier saga where they have combined Fr/Lg with E. I feel they will combine both ranger and D/P into the next series or just have it D/P based series with the movie based on ranger.

We honeslty do not know, they could just stretch out the BF saga with pointless fillers until D/P comes out.... they could do an anime off the ranger game, they are doing a movie with the same title after all.

If Ash beats all the Brains and there is still time before D/P come out they could either:

1) Make a short mini-saga about the Mysterious Dungeon games

2) Make a short mini-saga about the Pokemon Ranger games

3) Have Ash do nothing but stay at his house for the next couple of episodes

4) Have Ash re-enter the Indigo League since he still has his old 8 Kanto badges, and should be able to re-enter.

5) Do some Team Rocket saga where Ash confronts Giovanni and the other Rockets.

They really have a lot of options if you think about it, so it'll be interesting to see which they choose.

...not that I've read into it as much as I should have, but wasn't a series based upon the upcoming Ranger games pretty much confirmed by the producers of the show? IIRC, Ranger and the new series are supposedly due to be released at around the same time.
If they continue with the current change of pace for the BF saga, then it would certainly make a good deal of sense.

Well...i'll say 3..would be intresting..only if the can MAKE IT INTRESTING...lol

and 4...i WISH...but i think he should be the gym again...cuz that means...all those previous...can enter every time..lol

and 5...ya...i've seen alot of FAN FICS on that...it'd be nice to see something like that actually...

but all is in the WRITERS...HANDS...*shutters*

I knew about the 9th movie being based on ranger but, didn't hear about a new series. I think Ranger is supposed to come out a little while before D/P.

1 and 5 I doubt just because the writers wouldn't be that creative although they did pull the whole "ash turn into a pikachu" thing out of their as*es. Also I think the writers are really only goong to follow the true pokemon games made by gamefreak. Also I never thought of it but, I would actually be happy if another indigo league happened assuming their isn't some sort of climatic league or something in the BF saga.

YOU MEAN HAVE A 15 EPISODE SEGA WITHOUT PIKACHU UNTIL THE END!? GENIUS. Not happening though. Yeah I would go with Ash Staying home. Hell he probaly be training to get some more devolepment,and brock could go and rot in his "house" with the rest of his family. Though I wouldnt mind Misty coming. May might be finished with contest by then :0.

What about Brendan? I never got to see much action from him(other thatn the manga, but he was ruby there) and even though they could just show hm for a little, it would be cool. He would beat Ash(finally somebody would) and then we would see little mini-adventures of him.

um are you on drugs if Brendon hasn't already made asn appearence by now then wont at all (Just like Will and Karen) I hope that Ash's new rival for the D/P saga will be a girl who in the end of it all falls in love with Ash there by finall y giving him an oficial girlfriend and shutting up the crazy Pokeshippers and Avancedshippers(what am i saying i am an Advancedshipper).

Oh do shut up. Misty isn't going to travel any more, shes a full time Gym Leader now I mean Daisy, Lilly and Violet arn't going to do any real battling. Seriously lets be sensible, I'm an Advanceshipper but I don't think Ash and May should travel alone together, I LIKE having someone else as a companion.

When you have two heros one male one female theres not as much flavour, 3/4 characters makes things very interesting and exciting.

Yo, he did in the 6th movie. And besides, no one knows whether or not Wallace will appear in the next season too.

well i have to say i haven't seen movie 6 or any past that i have only seen all movies upto movie 5 and thar's including the Mewwo returns.

you do have a good point about Wallace. i wonder if he'll mention having a relationship with Winona?

anyway i hope the writers don't do to the saga after BF what they have done to it and hoenn and johto you know what i mean. lousl f@#%*ing fillers.
