What should be my team for emerald?

I've restarted Emerald and want to know a good team I should use.
I don't want to use HM slaves and also no legendaries. I also want to cover all types and have all HMs in my team, could you help me please? Also, I'm planning on using Sceptile as my starter. I think that I'm also using Gardevoir. Anything else is up to your choice for advice. Could you list their moves, nature, and ability please? Thanks a lot for the help. Also keep in mind that I can not trade and it's for in game.

There's a few better places for this. If you want a team that is good and say able to take on the battle frontier, then check out the 3rd gen RMT (Rate My Team) section: http://www.serebiiforums.com/forumdisplay.php?118-3rd-Gen-RMT I can't move your thread there as you need to give your own suggestions first (check the rules thread there for more info on what's required). There is a guide thread as well on how to build your team, and the IN game moveset guide has suggestions for every Pokemon.

The gist is you can ask people to pick your Pokemon for you, and if you want have challenging choices, or requirements (e.g. 'x can only evolve after you do ___').
