What should I get for my birthday?

Well, I believe I have made one of these for each year I've been on SPPF so I guess I will do it again. :D

I'm only making the topic in this forum because all I own is Nintendo to begin with.

I'm mostly just looking for games and accessories that would be good for my gaming experience. (I already have a Cell Phone, Digital Camera, and MP3 Player) Please give some reasons to why you think I would like them.

My birthday is on July 17th and I'm turning 17! :)

So far this is what is on my list:

Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney (Just bought it online for $42 total on Ebay :p)

EDIT: Yesterday on July 4th I got Fort Minor CD, 1 volume of Inuyasha Manga, 1 volume of Megaman NT Warrior Manga, 3 games: New Super Mario Bros., Brain Age, and Pokémon Trozei. I also ordered Pokémon Adventures volumes 1, 2, 3, 5, and 6 on Amazon (they didnt have 4 or 7...the total was $53! for the Manga)

Edit 2: I bought Animal Crossing: WW & Sonic Riders at Circuit City today.(July 16th)

It depends. However ACWW is still the biggest game in the Wi-Fi forum. Generally if you have Wi-Fi, it will last you longer. If not, it depends. Also it is one of those games you pick-up put down a lot. And also by today standards, Animal Crossing Wild World dominates the Replay Value area.

If you're gonna get a DDR Game, don't get Mario Mix.
If you don't have a PS2 or an Xbox then I guess Mario Mix would be your only option.

All Fire Emblem games are good, as well as Advance Wars :0
ACWW.... I lost intrest in that but at one point I was obsessed... I'll get back to it sooner or later so it ish teh good :0

IMO, SPAM Topic.

To answer, I wouldn't get another DS, whether it's a newer version or not. Plus, the DS Lite will cramp your hands up more than the orignal, and it cannot play GBA games.

I personally don't think a person needs 9 games for their birthday, it's a waste when you could buy something worthwhile. I also wouldn't import Ranger, be PATIENT and wait until it gets released in America/

Why don't you ask for some money to be deposited into a bank account, then you could save up for a car, or a holiday.

Uh DS Lite CAN play GBA games. and my birthday is on this coming monday and im gna get a DS Lite, New. Super Mario Brothers and Dr. Kawashima's Brain training: How old is your brain?. i suggest get new super mario bros and a DS Lite but DONT get ACWW im trading it in at eb games for my brain training.

I stand corrected, but I wouldn't get another DS, whether it's a newer version or not. It's a complete and utter waste of money.

lol Ranger. Don't buy it at all, let alone spend more money importing it.

DDRMM is cool if you don't have an XBox or a PS2(me lol), but if you do, I'd suggest the normal variant. A lot of the songs on Mario Mix are kind of poor(save for some very notable exceptions :)).

I hear ACWW is pretty good, but meh, I can't give an honest opinion on it.

New Cell Phone is probably the best option there, tbh =/ It'll last you longest and you won't get bored of it after beating it(because, unlike video games, you can't beat a cellphone xD).

I'd get the Nintendo DS Lite, the cellphone, the NSMB, and Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney, because it's a good game, imo.

It's a strategy game, so yeah. I'd recommend it. :<

I'm wanting to get a DS Lite because I believe my hands won't be so tired as quickly like they are from playing the original DS. I also want something that can fit in my pocket/bag better.

Mario Mix in my State (NEw York) Is gone. To many people bought the dancepads and they stoped making them. I really wanted it. Yes get a New Cell! Ds Lite for my bday to! Mine is 6/27 Yah Yah me!

You can not officially beat ACWW. However if you absolutly need constand action on a video game, this might not be the best game for you.
