I chose piplup. on diamond I chose chimchar
But im not to fond of any of the starters. I kinda ditched them after they got to the 3rd stage.

I would chose Piplup. I have used them all, but not training Piplup through the game for age's I'll go for him.

you know what? since i chose chimchar in d and p i will go with turtwig in platinum. Also because turtwig can take hits...except from ice beam :(

I chose Chimchar as my starter because of the moves it learn as an Infernape
