What starter?

What starter should I get...

 

[Boo]

I picked cyndaquil. He levels fast and works well

After trying out a few, I must say that I like Cubone the best. Lightning Rod makes him very worthwhile, especially in the beginning. Besides, he's the only starter who resists sandstorms.

Cyndaquil(Male only)/Mudkip

Treecko due to its ability to learn many TMs makes it good and with Charmander, you can cover a few of its weaknesses. Also, Charmander can learn Metal Claw to counter ice(Treecko's weakness) and rock(Charmander's weakness)

Cyndaquil is pretty strong and with Mudkip as a partner, you can face all the 3 legendary birds without worries of weaknesses. Also, Mudkip is cute.

totodile is offensive while treecko just learns a heck of a lot of TM's to counter most of totodiles weaknesses

Ex: aerial ace for grass, dig for electric types (earthquake when septile!)

You toke the words right out of my mouth, Mu team was Charmander/Treecko and I zipped right though it.

Also, Pikachu can beat almost all of the bosses easily

You should get a Totodile/Squirtle or Bulbasaur/Chikorita.

Totodile/Squirtle are great water pokemon and Bulbasaur/Chikorita have long ranged attacks,different powders, and level up fast.

Try and be Bulbasaur. With your partner being either Cyndaquil or Charmander. I breezed through the first part oif the game with Bulbasaur and Cyndaquil.

Well actually, it depends if you want an easy game or not.
My starters were Eevee/Totodile, and to me it was pretty easy. You'll probabally want to train a lot though, 'cuz I got stuck at Articuno.
