Why is it that pokemon like onix can learn dragonbreath naturallybut kingdra can't? I mean come on, thats minor because kingdra learns it through breeding but rapidash has a sharp horn yet can't do horn drill, yet DUNSPARCE (WHO DOES NOT EVEN have a HORN) CAN? whats the world coming to. Anyway if you think there are some moves that are just plain stupid, then tell me your opinions, or just comment on what i have said. thanks

There has been an absolutely massive thread on this somewhere. Rapidash (and Ponyta) could learn Horn Drill in 1st and 2nd gen. Steelix used to learn Fire Blast (so did Gyrados and Lapras) and Lapras could Sunnybeam in GSC. Apparently Wailord and Quilfish have just had access to Selfdestruct since Pokemon XD. If you find a list of the Pokemon that learn Surf you will not be happy. Rhydon, Nidos, Hariyama, Linnone, Furret, Lickitung, kangaskan, Tauros, Snorlax, Manyula, Milktank, Tyranitar, Aggron.

Yes, I know the Attack is called Horn Drill, implying that it would use the horn on its head, but I don't see a Crunch-using Crawdaunt with powerful jaws...

I don't get how Parasect learns Aromatherapy, and Meganium can't. Also, how does Blissey learn Heal Bell?

I mostly am amused by the number of pokemon who can learn self destruct. If I actually saw an exploding camel for example, I'd probably turn around and walk the other way
