I tried Portal Knights, but I just couldn't get into it. I was on long plane rides recently, so I played Mercenaries Saga Chronicles on my Switch. They're mobile phone games ported over to the Switch. They're tactical RPGs. The fact that they're phone games made primarily for the Japanese market with little money being put into the product shows. It's an extremely watered down Final Fantasy Tactics/Disgaea/Pokemon Conquest. The plot is non-existent, there's no voice acting, or even animated cutscenes. Still, the gameplay itself is just entertaining enough that you never feel too discouraged or bored to continue. Mercenaries Saga Chronicles is also a good deal. Chronicles consists of 3 games (Mercenaries Saga 1, 2, and 3), and each of those games can range from 15-20 hours of gameplay. Chronicles currently costs $15 on the Switch. It's up to you if you feel that $15 for up to 60 hours of gameplay with no real plot or character advancement, but mediocre gameplay is worth scratching that tactics itch.

Of course, I'm just going to get Fire Emblem: Three Houses next month and blow all three of these games out of the water.

Played some Xenoblade Chronicles 3d today and got to face my first real boss... got it down to around 1/2 its life, but it took around an hour to do so... as I haven't been able to get the B button push timing right all that often yet.

Been playing Judgment for about 2 weeks now. Fantastic game, but the tailing sections are incredibly clunky.

I recently finished the story for Final Fantasy XIV: Shadowbringers. I thought it would be impossible to surpass Heavensward's story, but Shadowbringers managed to do it. I'm still playing through the game itself to level my Astrologian to the cap (since I went through ShB as a Machinist instead for a change of pace) and play through dungeons and raids with my friends.

I also started playing Mega Man 11, and defeated my first Robot Master (Bounce Man). I'm really like it so far, as well, especially after having gone so long without a new Mega Man game.

Been playing Super Mario Maker 2 recently via rental. Really like it so far. Mainly just skipping any uber troll levels and ones that aren't that well made.

I bought Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 last night. It's a lot of fun. I beat Ultimate Alliance 1&2 many years ago on the PS3. I really love playing as the Hulk. It's fun smashing everything lol. There's a very nice character roster in the game.

Fallout 4 - Been over a year since I last played so I downloaded it again and did a lot of stuff I never did. Like let Austin die, team up with the Railroad only to betray them once we deal with the Brotherhood(I almost always go Brotherhood route, Liberty Prime Online!), completely wipe out Far Harbor(Sided with Allen, then turned off the defenses once I got the two perks lol ), and completely took over the Commonwealth for the Operators and Pack!
Next I plan to play a more pacifistic-like character, going the Minuteman route(Never did cause I hate the Minutemen characters...) so the Railroad and Brotherhood survive. Make peace between the Far Harbor factions, and (Something I've never done...) kill the Raiders of Nuka World

GTA V - Casino finally coming Tuesday....

Red Dead 2 - Still do the daily objectives, easy way to stockpile gold so long as you don't break your streak!

Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 - I was just too tired and hot to bother going to Gamestop to pick it up after work on Friday. But I'm grabbing it Monday! :D
Don't like that certain X-Men are DLC, but at least they're free! Interested in what the paid DLC will be beyond Marvel Knights

After wrapping up the Final Splatfest, I've been working on a Steel Soul Run of Hollow Knight. For those that aren't aware, you only live once in a Steel Soul run; if you die it's a permanent game-over.

My intent is to have it finished before FE3H comes out on Friday.

I beat Assassin's Creed Rogue Remastered. I've been playing the Assassin's Creed games ever since they released. I've never played Rogue up until now, and it's an amazing game. I can't believe that it took me this long to play this fantastic game. You play as an Assassin that betrays the Assassin's Brotherhood, and he joins the Templars. Anyone that follows the series knows that the Templars are the Assassin's greatest enemies.

The storyline is fascinating, and the Naval combat is very fun. It's fun boarding and looting enemy ships. That was one of my favorite activities to do in Assassin's Creed Black Flag.

On the side I've been playing the Ghost Recon Breakpoint Technical Test. Ubisoft sent me an invite to be a tester, so I couldn't pass up the opportunity.

Fire Emblem Three Houses. Liking the supports and battles so far and the monastery is huge, like that trailer does not do the place justice.

Picked up Nier Automata. Haven't been playing for long - I've just arrived at the resistance camp and completed two sidequests. Apparently 2B and 9S are off to a desert? Can't wait to see where that goes.

P.S. The music is amazing, haven't liked a game's soundtrack this much since Xenoblade Chronicles.

In hindsight, Judgment was decent at best. All that stood out to me were drone racing, combat and plot. Everything else felt a bit mediocre, like RGG was playing it too safe - it's even set in Kamurocho like most Yakuza games.

Astral Chain, this game is freaking fun but I'm not gonna lie. It takes a bit while to get used to the control scheme, there's a bit more focus on the analogue sticks for example, before really getting into the meat of the combat.
