What was your favourite story moment in HGSSC or DPPT?

My top favorite moment from the 4th generation games was walking into Cynthia's room and fighting her, but I also liked when Cyrus accidentally summoned Giratina at Spear Pillar and got dragged into the Distortion World. It made the Platinum story line seem so dark.

For DPPt, it's probably a tie between Cyrus' reaction when Giratina appears and the Distortion World.

For HGSS, the scene where the the Kimono Girls summon Lugia and it emerges from the waterfall.

From Diamond and Pearl, my favorite story element was the Ginga-dan's assault on the three Shinou lakes. The bombing of Risshi Lake in particular was memorable since we saw those poor Koiking splashing around.

DPPt:

HGSS: The scene in SoulSilver (the version I played first) where Lugia emerges from the waterfall. That was one of the coolest things I'd ever seen in the Pokemon games - definitely a "OMG wow!!" moment for me.

THIS. I loved gold and silver as a kid, even with all their "flaws" silver is my favorite game in the series, so the remakes were awesome, but Lugia's intro, was just too good. Easily #1 on my top 10 "favorite legendary pokemon intro" list.

Man I really need to get another copy of soul silver.

For D/P it had to be the park where you could have 1 mon follow you around. Strolling with my Pachirisu there just really took me back. (Yellow was the first game I played, so I thoroughly enjoyed getting to relive having a mon follow you around. Even if that park was tiny.)

I haven't played platinum, I plan to get it sometime soon, and play through it completely. So I don't really have a favorite moment in platinum, guess I'll update that eventually when i do have one XD

Contact Square (Amity Square)? I did enjoy visiting that place when I first played Pearl, although the fact that only small, cute Pokemon could tag along with us was a shame. The feature was updated in Platinum slightly though, which was a relief.

I really liked Amity Square. Back in the Gen IV days, I spent quite a lot of time there trying to get my Pokemon to pick up berries and Accessories I needed. It was a great place to visit when I was preparing for Contests or when I wanted to take a break from the main storyline.

For me it was the post-League stuff involving Team Galactic at Stark Mountain. It felt like a great side story and I wish it had been longer.
