Jak and Daxter the original is quite the original platformer. With it's story and such.

Untrue. Games with the popularity they have can't be generally considered bad, that's only your opinion.
Anyways, Jak 2 will always be my favourite. I loved the dark plot, gameplay, and environments.

Well the only bad thing I see are probably the graphics, they don't look too realistic when they're doing scenes and the characters look worse when they're being played, but the background's pretty okay, the graphics are pretty average for me. I never actually liked racing, but when I tried Jak X, it was awesome. I'm close to finishing it, but I'm having difficulty because of Razer, UR86 and Kleiver. Damn those cheaters! They sabotaged my racer in the beginning of the final cup. They even admitted it! ARG!!! But Jak X is definitely my favorite. The first game wasn't so bad, but the thing that bugs me is that Jak doesn't speak at all in the first game...
