What was your first Pokemon?

The title explains it all. Was your first Pokemon one of the region's starters? Or was it a Pokemon you caught in a friend's game?

I actually think it was chikorita but my first pokemon that I intentionally chose as my starter (chikorita was because of me rapidly pressing A) would be treecko but that's before I knew you got blaziken through torchic.

I have absolutely no idea what my starter pokemon in my Ruby was. It may have been Mudkip, but I'm not 100% sure... I know it wasn't Treecko, though.

I've been playing the games since the very first ones. My first Pokemon was a lovely little Female Squirtle! <3 ^_^ Squirtle was also my first Pokemon card, given to me by a much older highschool guy. Hahah.

I know what you mean, I think Totodile is the most underused water starter.

Knowing Charmander would become the awesome Charizard I went straight through with him. My first caught pokemon is hard to remember since it was a long time ago..but probably, Pidgey to help out against Brock's darn Onix...didn't help too much lol.

My first of my own was Chikorita clear back in Crystal. However, I did catch a Krabby in my friend's Crystal before that.
