I kinda wanted to throw Yukimenoko in there, and Latias was removed at the last second in favor of Togekiss. I was tempted to also include Lucario, but it's just so Goddamn overused. Maybe I'll switch him with Roserade sometime down the road.

As for my starter...I threw that piece of crap into the PC after Gym 5 and never touched it again. (Twas Empetle, for the record.)

As for my team for the game, it'll be something like Dodiatoise, Bunyatto, Mukkuhawk, Jibacoil, some Water type (most likely new, maybe Parukia), and some other new Pokemon that I will randomly catch.
