But seriously, I'd retcon Emolga to evolve from Pachirisu, and the same for Alomomola to evolve from Luvdisc, adjusting stats where needed.

Meh, I don't have a lot of things I want to change besides the repetitive structure of the games (start off in a small town in a forest region, choose between grass/fire/water, fight villain team, one lame rival, rumble around caves full of bats and rock types, proceed through big forest, arrive at major city, churn churn churn, come to an area with ice and dragon types, Victory Road full of rock types, E4). I mean, I understand that there needs to be structure and continuity, but I would like for Gamefreak to add a twist to the story in upcoming games.

Actually now that I've thought about it I'd do away with HMs... those are my biggest peeve.

Its understandable that you don't play Pokemon for the story. But others do. And just like many other long running franchises, there is a core formula to a Pokemon game just like there is a core formula for a Mario or Zelda game.

I completely agree. Pachirisu evolving into Emolga would be retarded.

I'd like to see the games being more atmospheric and lore/story-driven [like the Zelda and Metroid franchises, not with tons of cutscenes, like Uncharted, Heavy Rain and similar games]. I only play the main quest in Pokémon games, post game and the competitive scene are boring to me, so a more structured and more story-oriented main quest would be great for me. I would also change the fandom, Pokémon has one of the worse fandoms in the existence.

I actually love RPGs with a good story, which Pokemon mostly has, but all I am saying is that it wouldn't hurt to mix it up a little; if they insist on two versions of every release, why not make one more mature and one for the n00bs? As for core formula: one of the best Zelda games to date is "Link's Awakening" which doesn't even have Zelda or Hyrule in it; if the Zelda franchise could, so can Pokemon!

Luxray, maybe, but the dark type would just add weaknesses and make it less used.

Samurott's stereotype doesn't fit well in the fighting category and much less as the steel type. You suggest that because it seems you're a fan of Samurott, it doesn't need a secondary type. Serious.

About Emboar I agree, but don't about Infernape. 4th Gen was the first to have all final starters with double type. Infernape fits well as fighting. Infernape fits well as fighting, but Emboar doesn't.

Kingdra is okay as Water/Dragon. It's not an ordinary seahorse, it's dragon-like seahorse.

They should invent an item that would allow nidorina and nidoqueen to breed. If they can have incenses produce certain baby pokemon, for sure they can make it possible for the female nidoran evolutions to breed with an item. Not an incense, maybe, but some kind of item.

I would increase Focus Blast's accuracy from 70% to 85%. It should be on par with Fire Blast.
