Yeah, they werent shown at Oak lab this time because of the rushing and they all excluding Kingler/Charizard/Squirtle appeared at the league, I believe Tauros was mentioned but it didnt appear yeah.

That took care of the "Oak lab reuinion".

Maybe the writers said, screw it we are not going to keep track of every pokemon TR and Ash catches for many decades until the show ends.

Probably it's better that way, considering we have 649 pokemon. I think only the OS pokemon will be remember, and maybe some from DP.

That's what I mean. One is used for Koromori.. So what happened to the three pokemon she already had?

If they are just extra pokeball for her to use then that would make sense, since 3+3=6, but why would James have gotten 3 instead of 4?

So the writers just got rid of all the old Pokemon in their attempt to restart the series from square one? It's a nice theory but I doubt the writers would go as far as to totally redo everything to the point where older Pokemon belonging to Ash and other characters would cease to exist. I could understand why certain characters would be gone, but not certain Pokemon. The show is more about the Pokemon than Ash's traveling companions so it wouldn't entirely make sense to get rid of them.

A part of me wants to say that I don't think Meowth could have defeated the pack of Koromori. Which makes me think that they still have their old Pokemon, but from watching the episode, when Ash called Mamepato, it seemed like Jessie was kinda like, "Oh well I have an Isshu Pokemon, too! Go!" and then Iris revealed it to be called Koromori, which made everyone else stumble upon its name and it worked from there.

So Im sure they still have Wobbo, Seviper, Yanmega, etc. It's just it was an Isshu Battle.

I would cry. They can't just pretend all of those Pokémon didn't exist. We'll just have to wait and see, if NONE are mentioned in what, the first 50-or so episode, then we should be very, very worried.

If that actually were to happen, I would pretty much stop watching the show. But, with all the crap seen in Ash's room I doubt it will happen.

All that crap in his room was like the Misty lure. It was just a little easter egg for those few ancient fans still watching the show. But it does not have any significance to the current plot.
