i would a new region (not the diamond/ pearl region) with 12 gyms and you can carry 8 PKMN there would be 6 islands one will be an island with Kanto PKMN and ONE mew (availible after the elite 4) then one with Johto and ONE Celibe (after the elite 4) then one with hoen and ONE jirachi (after the elite four) and one with D/P PKMN and One legendary PKMN from D/P (after the elite 4) then and island for the elite 4 (of coarse) and one for new and improved Battle Fronteir (after the elite 4.......... duh!)

SORRY for the spelling ;384;

Carrying eight pokemon with you is stupid. It's six. It will always be six. They will never change this. So there :p

well, that game sounds like utter poop... but the thread could be saved!

my idea for a game is the ultimate tool for Pokemon trainers everywhere:

Pokemon Box: Deluxe edition

It is the ultimate utility tool for pokemon fans. It has all the functions of the original Pokemon Box, plus much more...

you can store up to 1500 pokemon, and sort them and arrange them, much like pokemon box... (it's completely compatable with every GBA game, once you've gotten the national dex)

what makes it very different is that it also has a feature simlair to Colosseum and XD's story mode...

you play a researcher in a mysterious part of the pokemon world. A mysterious area known as "Effort Fields", a big empty field with 6 ruins and a single pokemon center. Using the pokemon you've stored in Pokemon Box, you can use them to explore the ruins and this mysterious world.

Effort Fields is populated by pokemon known as "Missingnos" however, they are not the glitches originally found in the RBY games... Effort feilds is the only place they can be found and it seems that no other pokemon can be found there (or so they say...). They appear to be simple jelly-like things, and they're incredibly weak...

However, depending on their colour, they can give out 3 effort values in a certain stat. There are 6 varieties of Missingnos: red ones give 3 attack EVs, yellow ones give 3 defense EVs, blue ones give out 3 special attack EVs, green ones give out 3 special defense EVs, pink ones give out 3 speed EVs and purple ones give out 3 HP EVs

nearly every item a pokemon can hold can be found in Effort fields, except for Pokeballs, a mysterious energy surrounding Effort fields makes empty pokeballs non-fuctionable, so catching the Missingnos in the game is impossible.

you start of with access to a single ruin, but the more pokemon you store in the boxes, the more ruins you can access. The ruins themselves are quite big. It may take a long time to go through a single one. It's well worth it though, because if you're carrying 5 or less pokemon, you'll be gifted with one of 6 pokemon only previously available through nintendo events! (Mew, Ho-oh, Lugia, Celebi, Jirachi and Deoxys)

so basically, this game is much like Pokemon Box, only with a very useful place to EV train the stored pokemon as well.

The best part is that would be available for retail everywhere you can buy games!

if i made the next game, i would make regoin that connects hoenn, kanto, johto and the d/p region. Kanto is a real region in japan, johto is based on the kansai region (wierdly stuck next to kanto, missing out chubu...) and hoenn is kyushu flipped through 90 degrees. Maybe make the new region chubu, as i think that is where mt. fuji is, and it would be an interesting environment. Also, if i was the game designer, id try to avoid needles and annoying pokemon design reuccurence. I mean, of all the possible bug types you could have, why repeat the same old caterpillar-cocoon-something combination. There are many unused animals to choose from!

my next game would be that you start out in a new region and you can go to the other regions and islands, yes including the orage league, after you beat the pokemon league. Yes i said Pokemon League, i hate the idea of the elite four so instead it would be that once you get to *blank* city, you will enter the *blank* championships, and it would be like the shows, except each time you fight it will be different people you fight against. And after each round it will say on a scoreboard in the main office the matchups that are going to take place the next day. And yes you have to wait one day between each round.

I would remake Orre for 2D and add routes, wild Pokemon, new towns, gyms, etc. It would be set 50 years after XD where lots of totally new Pokemon have arrived, and it has it's own Orre League including 8 Gyms, Elite Four, Battle Frontier etc. I like to imagine Orre is located north of Johto and north west of Kanto and the new region for Diamond & Pearl is north of Kanto and east of Orre. The game would also stretch out to Kanto, Johto, Sevii Islands, Orange Islands, Hoenn and the new region. It would be great, but it's never going to happen. *sighs*

And this should be in Pokepolls.

Make new pokemon and region. Also make the pokemon more (How do I put this ) interactive?Like you can pet it and you won't need some lady telling you how it feels about you because you tell by looking at it's stats or something.I'd make the game more challenging too like the E4 Champ will have level100 pokemon or something.Every pokemon pokemon will be avalible.Like if you want a rare Pokemon like Bulbasaur you might find it in the wild but the chances of that are kinda like finding a shiny pokemon and Mew Celebi would be even harder to find.I'd make it for more for teens with blood ect.I'd also do something about the action too like make it less boring. You would also be able to but things on your pokemon too like nintendogs.

I'd make a game where you actually get to play as the Pokémon themselves. Something along the lines of Smash Bros seems like a decent enough style of gameplay, considering the amount of freedom you have when duking it out. All the attacks, level-up procedures and other such factors would remain intact of course, and the differing stats of the pokémon would still come into play.

I'm not sure on a plot though. I mean, I can see the whole catch 'n train pokémon gig work out pretty well as you wander under the guise as Mr.NewGen Trainer, tackling all the different gym leaders and master coordinators, but perhaps thats just a little too cliché?
Maybe twist that same plot around so that you actually play as a pokémon for the entire game, going through various tasks and such to become more reveered by the other pokémon in the wilderness, before eventually facing off with the leaders of various packs or something? I dunno. *brain fart*
Either way, a game where you actually play as the widdle monsters themselves would be pretty sweet. :p

I'm aware that you can play as the pokémon in that game, but what I was getting at was I want a game where you've got complete control over them. Jumping around, dodging attacks, etc. Mysterious Dungeon isn't like that, as all you're really doing is walking around and getting yourself into turn based battling.

Komedic Konservationist

N00b in the dungeon!
If I could create my own Pokemon game, I'd probably want it the battles to be properly animated. I'd also like more puzzle elements incorparated into the dungeons, and also more mini-games like the 2-island ones in FR/LG.

I had an idea about a pokemon american football game. You could rent a team, like in stadium, or transfer your pokemon into it. The game would only allow certain pokemon though: those with at least 2 arms/legs. That way they can be used to catch, run, or throw, the ball. For maximum gameplay, you'd have to actually stat raise, breed, etc to get a great team of 53 pokemon (the smallest size for an NFL Team).

The game would go as in depth as to offer play similar to madden; even using pokemon moves as plays. If all of your pokemon on the field at one time know a particular move (read: strength), they have maximum potential for a successful play, then it's a matter of good stats and pokemon in general.

I would make a (standard, non-melee) pokemon fighting game. It would be online, 100 fighters could be unlocked (the rest could be uploaded from the GBA games), fighters would also be able to power up and evolve in battle by holding the back buttons (ex: DBZ budokai 3-PS2). My reason for choosing something as diverse as pokemon is because the online community would also become diverse and you would usually be an individual in the online arena (unless you choose to use a very popular pokemon). Another good one would be a pokemon party game for revolution, with online play and unique controller based mini-games that use it's gyroscopic technology to it's full potential.

you can carry 8 PKMN

Glowstick Cult stop being such an *** (sorry but that's how you're acting), this is a very good idea. As long as the pokemon limit isn't absurdly large (ex:10-12 pokes) it's fine with me. More pokemon add a more diverse skill level (longer battles), along with adding new types (I still hope the light type gets added in D/P) and larger movesets for an overall tougher rpg.

Pokemon Rainbow Version

Travel through Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Orre, the Sevii Islands, the Orange Islands, the D/P region, and a bonus region.

You can catch every pokemon ever made, you can choose which region to start in, there will be 64 badges to collect, and you must defeat the evil Team RockMagAquCiphSnagem! It's every Pokefan's dream come true, every version combined!

It'd be pretty sweet to have a fighting game with just Pokemon. Of course, we'd have to only include those that look like they could go in SSBM. Sorry Murkrow...

And the gender ratio for starters, etc. would be set to 3 M/1 F. You could choose between 3 different of each one for the one you get as fighter (kind of like Nintendogs) with ability rating, base stats without EVs, nature, and gender given. You raise them in a training field, name then, and teach them TMs.

I.E. a Stat display:
Name: Kazan-hime
Species: Typhlosion
Gender: Female
Nature: Mild
Abilities: Better-than-average
Moves: Flamethrower/Thunderpunch/Earthquake/Attract

Physical Power: **
Physical Defense: *
Elemental Power: *****
Elemental Defense: ***
Running Speed: ****
Jumping: **

And so on. Of course, type matchups would be implemented.

Ohhhh~ Coordinator game please and thanks. <3 Anime-style contests. You travel around catching pokemon like in the games, but you train them for contests and the Grand Festival instead of gyms/elite four. Oh, and instead of gym leaders, your main competion in the contests could be the "important" coordinators and their signature pokemon from the anime. You know: Haruka, Shuu, Musashi, Robert, Harley, Kanata, Eiji, Megumi, Grace, Kimimaro, Toshiki, Eriko... Um, others too. Obviously, some would show up in places other than where they were in the anime... Oh, and it'd be in 3D. *nods* Yessums.

And of course, I want a Sims type game. Then people could stop whining about so-and-so being a couple, cause you could choose for yourself! Oh yes, I'd have some lovely tensionshipping. <3

My idea of a new game would be a remake of Gold and Silver. It would have all original 251 pokemons ONLY, with better things in it. Also, just like in pokemon yellow, you can have one pokemon of your choosing to be outside with you. Doesnt have to be pikachu. Also, now everyone has a chance to catch Celebi!!!! YES!!! But you can do it only after you defeat the pokemon league. Their's no need for pokemon events, tickets, and adapter things. You would get the GS ball somehow and put it in the shrine. Profeesor Elm will give it to you afetr you defeat the pokemon league. Their would be contests, and other special events. Also, now pokemon is more advanced.
