What WOULD you name your rival

if in R/S/E you could name your rival what would you call them I would either keep them the same ot call them ruby or sapphire but what about you?

Yeah...Me too. I mean...GARY HAS WHITE HAIR? Impossible...though Brendan didn't really have white hair, I think it's a bandana.
I think Brendan suits the boy and May suits the Girl

I got used to May and Brendan already...I don't really see the comics about Ruby and Sapphire, only my friend buys them and lends them to me. But I don't really see Rivalry there. I prefer May and Brendan, but, then again, in the show they didn't weren't even rivals at all..XD Well, I just got used to May and Brendan, Ruby and Sapphire seem like wierd names to me 0.o

I've never been a fan of the 'color' names, so if I could name them, I have no idea what I would. I always thought it comical that you get to decide your rival's name in past games, especially in the 1st generation where Oak cannot even remember his own grandson's name.

I'd probably, if forced to, give them japanese names. Sayuri, Sakura... something like that for the girl. I have no idea what I'd name the guy.

I've never seen him, but I'm not surprised. A lot of japanese characters in manga and anime are very androgynous, and some males are downright girly and some girls downright butch. Keeps things interesting, I suppose. [shrugs]

He's personally my favorite trainer you can play as to date, and it's all because of his white hair.

Usually I call my rival something rude or "Dan", but since in RSE my rival is usually a girl, I would either keep it as May or call her "*****" or something. I dunno...May's more likely.

I'm very unoriginal when it comes to names.
