Here's a few. You will tell that I listen to a lot of different types of rock music:

Back in Black - AC/DC (pretty much one of the greatest guitar song ever)
Johnny B. Goode - Chuck Berry (named "Greatest Guitar Song" by Rolling Stone magazine. Need I say more)
Stairway to Heaven - Led Zeppelin (we need a Led Zeppelin song on there)
No Leaf Clover - Metallica (just like that song :D)

That's only a few. Might come by with more if I think of some.

As much as I want stairway to heaven, most of the song is well, a bit to quite. The ending is the best part and that is the last 2 min of the song.
I also want Hells Bells and You shook me all night long by AC/DC

I wish they would put the MM Power Rangers song in. Also Iron Man,Enter The Sand Man,High Way to Hell,More Tenacious D songs,Rock versions of some awesome songs. This is what we need to make GH4 the best rock game eva!

I can see the future
There are two groups that would probably not have a song on the next Guitar Hero game: Aerosmith and Metallica. I wouldn't expect many Aerosmith songs since they just got a whole game to themselves. I also wouldn't expect many Metallica songs since there is a report that they too are getting a whole game to themselves.

Also, just because a song appears on Rock Band doesn't mean it won't appear on a Guitar Hero game. I remember seeing that a few songs were in both games.

Anyways, a few more ideas:

Consider that The Devil Went Down to Georgia's solos were all played on the fiddle. It was kinda a fun thought though. Besides, the newest game features a microphone and drumset just like Rock Band has.
