To get the ball rolling: Don't you wish that nintendo would stop those dumb events? It contrdicts itself: It doesn't encourage gameshark, yet it hold events in so little places (why doesn't it come to Singapore???? sigh) which limits the enjoyment of having a rare pokemon...;386-s; ;385; ;151;

I dislike the time some of the consoles and games are brought out. A lot of good consoles are out near Christmas, but Europe got the DS in march. America got emerald in April. Europe get Animal Crossing in February.

otherwise on a pokemon basis, I don't think they need to do anything with this. Including an above message. The events are cool (wouldn't say this if I hadn't gone to one )

Ever heard of Resident Evil 4? Zelda: Twilight Princess? Eternal Darkness: Sanity Requiem? Metroid Prime? F-Zero GX? Rogue Squadron II? I would hardly call them childish in terms of graphics. Besides, they're not trying to appeal to kids, they're trying to appeal to casual gamers, who aren't going to be turned on by dark stories with blood and sex.

The problem with Nintendo is what some are saying: Not enough good exclusive games. Out of the 27 games I have, 11 are what most would consider "good". I'm not saying I hate any of the games I have (though some are better than others), but there really aren't any more exclusive games I want, save Zelda: TP.

My only gripe with Nintendo was entering the online format so late. My GameCube modem has been rendered useless thanks to them not wanting to step into online gaming with the console. My modem's only useful for both Phantasy Star Online games. :\

I have to agree that it is a downside that they did enter the online community so late, but I was not too disapointed because when you play a game which is supposed to go online, liknw PSO, I felt that a lot of the game was missed out for me because I could not really go online with it.

I do have to agree with former absolkid about the timing in which they release games. I mean, what is the point in releasing Emerald in the last week of the event for it? And all of the games seem to be clustered togeather, so you cannot offord to buy all of the games you want because they are all released at once, and near christmas as well. I mean I want MKDS, StH, pokemon XD and MDR, but cannot afford to buy them all, it may take me until March until I can buy them, and then even more games will come out. This is just me probably, but I am just stating my opinion.

Those ignorant jerks who avoided the GCN just because of "kiddieness" can kiss my natural white ***. Anyone who's actually played these games can attest that this steriotype means nothing in the face of excellent gameplay.

Nintendo shouldn't change itself just to kiss up to the obnoxious mainstream n00bs who only care about "coolness" and their own personal status when it comes to gaming. Seriously, I hate their guts.

I guess DJ-Will you are right about what 4 examples! But I can think about a lot more examples on other formats! Also GC did have the most graphical power... Microsoft obviously used their power asap. Nintendo can make the GC go far!

They aim most of their games at people who like to have fun.

I also wouldn't consider those facts - just the conformist opinion from people who don't really have a say, if they haven't given the games or console a chance. I myself have few things that I don't like about Nintendo. I can't even think of any off the top of my head.

That's a bad thing how? Usually games by Nintendo that're often delayed tend to turn out incredibly well. Especially Miyamoto games.

I'm sorry, but don't blame Nintendo for that BS. EVERY game developer gives Europe the shaft and you know it. And don't blame developers for not taking a chance with some Japanese games. A lot of things that work in Japan simply don't work outside. The audiences are too different. What may seem cool in Japan would seem awfully strange in the US or Europe. Developers are trying to avoid bring over games that'll be bombs.

Not Nintendo's fault. They didn't develop those games. Blame the game developers for not making commercials.

I have to agree with Edward Elric that delaying what looks like a great game to make it even longer and better is not a bad thing IMO, At least we will get more game time out of it.

And I have to say that I do not want anymore WW graphics. It really did make the game LOOK childish, even though it was not. I just hope that they release more nintendo games for the DS, which is what they are doing, what with the new mario on its way and metroid prime first hunt, it looks like a good line up.
