I have been trying to get Mew by using the Mew Trick,but when I have a pokemon with a special of 21 the only pokemon that appears is Gastly. What the heck is wrong? It says in the sticky that the special needed for Gastly is 25.

are you battling a ditto after battling a trainer with the pokemon with the special of 21?

No. Actually I'm not. But I did get Mew anyway with the second method. So I'm not really complaining. I guess I could just get a different pokemon.
