What's a good moveset for Weezing?

Yeah. I want a lv 100 Weezing, but I don't know what to give it. Two moves I definitely want are Sludge Bomb and Explosion, not sute about the other two.

On a side note, just show my brother the effect of EV's, I trained my Weezing on Zubats and when it leveled up, it got +6 speed.

N'ah, it's not in-game, just standard overused (or OU for short). It's a different metagame than JAA, basically involving things not the top-tier Pokemon (SD Latios, SD Latias, Deoxys (mainly Attack form, but the other forms mask themselves), Kyogre, Groudon, Rayquaza, Mewtwo, Lugia, and Ho-Oh are banned in this metagame for sure, some sites differentiate on others, those are the ubers IMPO)

Anyway, back on topic:

Weezing MS: Explosion, Sludge Bomb, Shadow Ball are definites. You could go Protect for Doubles, Flamethrower for singles.

Depends on your taste.

...No. Toxic on a Weezing, as well as Protect, is just stupid. I'd go with this:

Impish Nature
Trait: Levitate
-Will-O-Wisp
-Pain Split
-Sludge Bomb
-Fire Blast/Explosion

Walls ANYTHING physical, and can even take out Special attackers with Pain Split. STAB Sludge Bomb hurts a lot of things; Fire Blast is for those annoying Steels and Explosion is just self-explanatory.

And don't EV train Weezing in Speed. =/

Listen to Iso please. The other movesets suggested are pretty bad.

Lol Shadow Ball. Weezing is not gonna be killing Psychics with its slow speed and bad Special Defense, so don’t even bother.
Pain Split is generally better than Explosion, since you don’t want your valuable physical wall/Heracross counter to blow up.

Haze deserves a mention since it stops those annoying Double Teamers in the Battle Frontier.

i post what i think is a good moveset. true aragornbird is more experienced at pokemon than me but shadow ball still comes in useful, and explosion is great, as is pain split

Well if your breeding it from an egg, at level 5, Viridian Forest because I believe bugs are weak against poison, correct?

Sludge Bomb
Thunderbolt
Explosion
Flamethrower

Solid moves and will likely take your opponent by surprise.

Impish without Fire attack
Relaxed with Fire attack

EVs: 252 HP / 48 Atk / 208 Def

Use 10 HP Ups and get the rest of HP from Marills/Glacia.
Use 4 Proteins and rest of Attack from Shuppets.
Use 10 Irons and get the rest of Defense from Geodudes etc. (fighting Hikers is a good idea).

In game weezing need more attack IMO because most of the things if walls suck In-Game. The extra attack does help it do more damage. But , its up to you to chose what you want.
