what's the best place to preorder /reserve a wii??

yeah. i talked to my mom about and told her i want the wii for christmas.and she wanted me to find out where the cheapest/ best place to preorder.she said there's a chance i might actualy get it so yeah??

Nowhere. Gamestop/EB Games held preorders on the 13th, and those are long gone. Toys 'R Us held preorders just yesterday, and they're all gone as well. Your best bet is to tell your Mom to just try walking in on the day of.

This is assuming you live in the U.S. of course. I don't know the preorder status of anywhere else.

There will be enough Wii's, since most are being shipped to the US. You don't need to preorder the Wii, but the games probably.

People who buy several copies of a certain item just for the sake of either collecting or selling off for their own profit when there's nothing available.

Also expect empty Wii boxes to be on sale on eBay.

This here is what I call "Spoiled Child Syndrome." Good luck even finding one during Christmas, considering how close together the release date it beside the Christmas shopping boom (day after Thanksgiving) and Christmas.

Most places are maxed out on pre-orders but a lot of the stores'll probably get extra and some aren't even taking preorders so I reccomend camping out at launch or waiting outside a store really early around launch.

Well I pre-ordered at Toys R Us here in Australia and they offer a free game to those who pre-order with them. TRU started taking pre-orders since June here and I went straight away and was already the fourth on the list.
