What's the most fitting name for the hero & girl in colosseum 1 and XD?

Personally I really like Alex as it means protector in Greek and even though colosseum was originally Roman *shrugs*
Any who as for the girl I named her Yuki *means snow or lucky in Japanese*

The boy's called Tobias *means god is great in Hebrew*
Yes I know you can't name his little sister in the game but I've renamed her in my fic Nariko

*Means thunder in Japanese*

Just for laughs, I put "Romeo" and "Juliet" the first time I played the game. On my present file, the guy and girl are named "Stan" and "Maddie," respectively.

I put Wes and Rui in Colosseum, and Michael in XD. Very unoriginal.

For the boys in both games I just put the first names on the lists (Wes, Michael). And I named the girl in Colosseum Jess.

In fact, I always name the character like their original names. I mean, in Zelda I choose Link; in Golden Sun, Isaac; in Golden Sun 2, Felix; in Ruby, Brendan; etc.........

I named them Wes and Rui. I'm not one to call characters in a game with an actual plot in any other way...

I did named them Orion and Amy the first time, though. Those are my names of choice in my handheld carts. :D

Wes and Rui, the actual names of the trainers. Yes, quite original :p

Anyways, in Collie, I named them Bill and Krystal. In XD, I named the guy Billy.

Horray for original names!

In Colloseum I named Wes, "Fallen". Mostly because I liked the name. I think it suits him.

In XD, I named Micheal, "Shale". Once again because I liked the name. But I think his red hair is what gave me the idea.

If I like how the female characters look, I'll name them Wyndigo... I left Rui's name alone.

Fallen... that reminds me of somebody... who was called Fallen... in Ragnarok... and was... a very stupid person...

On-topic: Like I've said, I name the trainers like their original names, but I always put nicknames to my team. It's the opossite of what most people do.

What exactly is the name of the sister in XD? Sorry, but i don't like to read spoilers for games until i've played through it... then they wouldn't be spoilers anymore... obviously.

Still, i keep them called Wes and Rui in colosseum and everything else i use em for. The Tom name option made me snigger though; he doesn't look like a "Tom".

She's called Jovi in the American version, and Mana in the Japanese version. And you can't choose her name, she's not that important like Rui was in Colosseum.
