Ok here lies the remaines of the hope that u might had when you were in the most hopeless battle you've ever had.....ok dammit ill speak this is a discussion on the most hopeless battle you've ever had.Well,here's mine one ill explain it in battle mode:

One time in the battle factory, it was my last milotic vs. a lapras holding leftovers as none of milotics attacks were damaging at all. When lapras started using struggle, its leftovers kept bringing its health back to full so I had to essentially forfeit that run.

The only hopeless battles I can recall are against Lance's Hyper Beam pokemong and my under levelled team. With most of my team fainted, his Hyper Beam would KO a pokemon, i'd switch in a weak one and revive the fainted one. Hyper Beam would KO again, and the processs would repeat until Hyper Beam finally missed and I got an attack in, probably not enough to faint the pokemon, and it would keep going until I ran out of revives.

isnt hyper beam just suppose to run out of PP?

In Red version, I only had an Oddish left and I was in a battle with another Oddish of a similiar level, back then I didn't know about PPs and both Oddish used Absorb over and over again. I just turned my game off after awhile.

Might have been some other attacks too. They all do enough damage to under levelled pokemon.

For the sake of giving it a go, I planned a fight with fighting_master for us to use only pokemon with moves that heal themselves, mess about with stats or envoke a status condition.
As you can probably guess it was a Strugglefest with the winner being the one who had increased their attack the most.
It was completely hopeless as a battle but we had some time to kill and wanted an interesting 3D Collosseum match!!

I think it had surf, icy wind, recover, attract. All attacking moves are ineffective against a lapras.

Today, actually, in the Battle Frontier. A Dusclops and I tried to stall each other out. I had a Cradily, and had Psyched Up all of Dusclops's Double Teams, but somehow Dusclops still had the accuracy to Toxic me... I managed to get Dusclops down to Struggle, but wouldn't you know, her Struggles hit me and my Struggles did nothing. Fought it out to the bitter end, though.

once I had a battle in factory, I had my last one that was a crobat and the opponent had more two pokemon a tentacruel and a ________, both pokemon had leftovers, my crobat´s attack were double team;toxic;gigadrain;confuseray then I used all my double teams up to 0 PP, then I used toxic up to 0 PP, due to double team and leftovers, my crobat don´t took many damages, tentacruel´s surf hitted sometimes, but my leftovers recovered all again. then I used giga drain (surprise) tentacruel´s abbility was liquid ooze... so I used all my conf. rays first. then I struggled it up to faint, then the next pokemon was a grandbull O_O it knew aerial ace O_O but the opponent was so stupid that he used only twice again my struggle took care of it!!! the battle took 46 minutes (I saved it in my frontier pass)

For me it was Dusclops vs my rental Blissey the Dusclops had leftover and so did Blissey it also had no move to hurt Dusclops so rather to face a lost I forfit the unfair match.

Silver version. Me vs. Lance. We were down to our last Pokemon. Lv. 55 Dragonite vs. lv 10 Togepi. There was a glimmer of hope; Dragonite's Hyper Beam missed. Togepi used Metronome and confused Dragonite w/ Sweet Kiss! (Dragonite had already been damaged by my Feraligatr) Lance used a Full Restore, then Hyper Beamed Togepi into oblivion.

I WAS SO ****ING CLOSE!

Aside from when I entered the Elite Four for the second time in LG and realized that they'd leveled up? Haha, er... actually, I'm not sure if it counts, but I spent many, many hours in the Safari Zone searching for and attempting to catch a friggin' Chansey. They must've made it more difficult to catch. See... I throw a bait at it, and it flees. When it stays, I throw a ball at it, and it flees. If I even think about throwing a rock, it senses my evil intentions and flees.

Here is a tip Chansey is a happiness pokemon give it food!

Using a Gyaruno, a Latias, and a Kadabra in Battle Tower (Sapphire). Not a bad team? Yeah, right. Neither of my pokemon had any super effective attacks for a certain Bug/Ghost pokemon that has Wonder Guard... I got a silver shield for not knowing that Shedinja could be in Battle Tower.
