What's the most underrated Pokemon!?

Well the title speaks for itself.

I wanted to know what people thought was a good pokemon, but doesn't get alot of attention. I'm not saying godly or anything, just good and playable. Also put a good moveset for the pokemon.

Mine would be Seviper, why? Well it lacks speed which isn't to gret, but it makes up for it with it's sweeping capabilities. It has the base stats of 100 for attack and sp. attack meaning it can be a great mixed sweeper with most of the moves it can learn.

The best one would probably be:

Seviper@----
Nature: Lonely or Naughty
Flamethrower
Crunch
Sludge Bomb
Earthquake

Then again you could just go with a physical sweeper which also works

Nature: Adamant
Sludge Bomb
Earthquake
Iron Tail/Return
Toxic/Haze

And for a special sweeper, which isn't as good of course

Nature: Modest
Flamethrower
Crunch
Giga Drain
Attract/Haze


It can easily cover it's weaknesses, and can use Haze to whipe the Calm Mind users to the ground, which is why I think it's a great and underused pokemon.

So what about everyone else?

Uh, I really don't want to go through a whole moveset or anything, but I never thought Dunsparce was that bad, people usually blow it off or don't take the time to train it, but it's a really good Pokemon!

I think Gardevoir is underrated. It's always overshadowed by Alakazam due to superior offense and speed stats. However, what Alakazam lacks Gardevoir has. And Gardevoir has superior defenses. It can take quite a few hits, whereas Alakazam is often OHKO'ed.

The same goes with some starters, such as Venusaur and Blastoise, who are always overshadowed by Charizard. But everyone (myself included) loves dragons, and I don't want to upset any Charizard lovers out there.

I only meant movesets if it was hard to see why, for instance most of Seviper's use is with it's range of attacks

Hariyama. I've ranted about this poor, neglected titan one too many times, and I don't feel like doing it again. But let me say, Hariyama is dreadfully underrated and it doesn't deserve to be.

Funny mostly every pokemon you guys have mentioned I have used XD

Ursaring I used like a year ago in an old Emerald game, Hariyama I used in Sapphire when I used Sceptile, Houndoom I just used in my last game, Jynx I used in Fire Red, and my brothers Leaf Green, I used Machamp but switched back to Hariyama, I never was able to get a Steelix or Dunsparce though, and I am using Gardevoir right now - I gave it a calm nature for my of a defensive type.

For the reasons said by CB, I say Hariyama. Massive HP, awesome attack and a STAB Focus Punch that hurts.

Second'd. The thing has AWESOME attack and HP. EV train it and you've got a strong contender.

I also say Nosepass is underrated, same with Magneton and Sandslash.

Gardevoir is underrated in NO WAY whatsoever.

more people tend to favour it to Alakazam now, plus everyone loves her design (including me )

I say Piloswine's terribly underrated, but that's because of it's otherwise crappy type combo that makes it the worst ground type ever.

Flygon. He's the coolest of the dragons, (and original, which isn't common among them) but he pretty much gets ignored. And he's got a nice movepool too. -.- Stupid Salapants (PM me if you know a more obscene or effective insult)

Well, she certainly ain't underrated among the menfolk 8D

Seriously, she's a damn good battler, can take hits decently, and posesses flowing elegance that Alakazam can only dream of

Flygon, underrated? Haha riiight. He's on like everyones trainer card.

I think Ampharos is underrated - - I used her in Colosseum, and she works wonders.

Also, pokémon who don't evolve are underrated, such as Jynx, Stantler, and Roselia.

Feraligatr imo. >_> I mean, just a Swords Dance or two, and it's ready to go.

Either Feraligatr, or Dunsparce. It's an incredibly diverse Pokemon, and it can be extremely tough if used correctly.

Venusaur is far from underrated. It's the best OU grass type IMO.

I also say Nosepass is underrated, same with Magneton and Sandslash.

Uhh... Magneton? Last time I checked, Magneton is one of the best Skarmory counters out there. It's one of the best Electric types next to Raikou and Zapdos.

Nosepass deserves its reputation. lol

I'd say Butterfree is underrated. A good NU Pokemon and the best at Doublepowder. People ditch it too early ingame.

Blaziken is also underrated. It used to be really popular, but then stupid people started saying that only n00bs use Blaziken, and for some reason there's a Charizard-esque stigma on a really good Pokemon. ._.

In my opinion, an underrated Pokemon would be one of my favorites, Rapidash.;078; It has awesome Attack and Speed, and it only downside is its pitiful Defense. Also, its Special Attack and Special Defense are all right, but not dynamic. Overall, it has potential, but is ignored in favor of the more popular Fire types.

Poor rapidash has a terrible movepool so that is why she is not used.
