Whats the point of Nintendo events ?

yes but there already programmed into the game peeps with ar's and gs's can warp to the islands etc so they allready have em in the game so y cnt we just go without havin to either go to diffrent conurtys of travel like 100's of miles to get em

The're perfectly good if you can get to them, you get rare pokemon, meet people with the same interest as you yadda yadda.

Of course, if you can't get there, then there pointless and stop you from completing your pokedex 90% of the time, which is kind of annoying.

I think Nintendo Events are scams. It's why I passed up my only chance to get Celebi a few weeks ago.

I don't see what's wrong with programming them in the game. Seriously. . .

It is annoying that we cannot get these very easily. It would still be a scam if they were on different games (like Jirachi on Channel) but at least they would be easier to get. Sometimes I don't blame people for using cheats (I never do but that's just me).

Thats all really. No other reason except more money. Notice how the events always are at places where you can buy all their pokemon crap, and how they usually release new things to buy around the time of the events? Yeah.

The last one I went to, the one for the ticket to get Ho-oh and Lugia, was the opening day for Nintendo World. Of course... of course.

1. If you go to event you waste gas which each fill at the pump is more than a brand new pokemon game!!!

2. You msut Rent/Buy a game then beat iot all really fast .. .and then you get a [pokemon like Lugia.. or Ho-Oh but still Nintendo kicks you becuase they dont out on thier secret special moves like: sacred Fire/Aeroblast so now you have to a get a stupid Mushroom/ Heart Scale just to Re-Learn them!

Remember G/S/C we never had to travel miles to get Lugia or Ho-oh or beat another game just to get the Legendary Dogs

or R/B/Y you don't need to go to Japan just to get a Mew!! why can't we go back to th old days where we travel through large caves and battle dangerous monsters just to get a Legendary instead of :

plz drive to the moon to get a DeoxmewHogia2 !!!!!

Two events have come to the UK in recent years.

PokEmON TICKET Day which let you get a 'Master' Eon Ticket from Gamestations around the UK.

And Hunt For Deoxys, which allowed you to get the Aurora Ticket which was easy enough to get to. Heck, I went to two myself.

We have a third one coming soon with the Top 10 Pokémon of Europe, which includes Ho-oh, Lugia, Latias, Latios, Entei, Raikou & Suicine. Why the hell are you complaining?[/rant]

On topic also, I love events. I love trading Feebas/starters to people just to help out and I love battling people to see how they raise their squads and what they raise and to see how many people still embrace Pokémon.

Expect to see me at the next UK event, and ask me for a Feebas/starter and I'll gladly oblige.

I think nintendo events put more excitement into the pokemon series, although i agree its frustrating when you really want a mew or jirachi ext and you carnt get it.

Why does anyone want to fill up the dex anyway? To me, it's a useless piece of junk. The events are for the people that are HUGE Pokemon fanatics, people who are willing to spend $20 to get un-needed Pokemon(Celebi). I don't need 00bers.

I agree with PkmntTrainerJ. They're just some Pokemon that aren't even allowed into the BF. You mean having 7 legendaries in your game isn't enough? IMO at least.
