I mean, y'see Goku as a kid. He grows up. Gets married and has kids. And dies. THEN IT HAPPENS ALL OVER AGAIN. Every villain like that bug guy and Buu get a crapload of eps where they just keep fighting and fighting and it seems like the series never ends. I just makes me wonder...

So is the DB(Z) anime done or what? If so, how does it end?

I dunno much about the DB(Z) series, nor am I a fan of DB(Z). I've just seen a few eps to get the idea. I bet the first guy that sees this thread would be EE, since he knows like, everything about DB(Z).

LOL! No. He may be ressurected again and again, but it doesn't mean it starts all over again.

I believe Ed stated somewhere in the s-CRY-ed thread about that, and he explained why the episodes drag on like that in one simple paragraph. Though I think it'll be better if he said it himself. ;)

Yes, it has been done for a while now. And it depends on which ending you're talking about; the true canon ending, which is the DBZ one, or the non-canon ending, which is the DBGT one.

How can you judge a anime so quickly like that when you haven't even seen the whole series?

EE said somthing along the lines of "The fights were so long so the anime woulndt overtake the Manga." in that scense, wed have crap loads of filler episodes.

What I meant by it happening again was Gohan growing up.

Dragon Ball was mainly about Son Goku as a kid who then aged into a young man. Dragon Ball Z is where Goku's fully an adult and has his own family.

The reason fights drag on is because Toei animation was trying not to go past the manga's story since they were adapting from the manga.

Dragon Ball started in Japan of 1986 and ended with Dragon Ball GT during 1997.

Dragon Ball ends with Goku and Chi-Chi getting married. Dragon Ball Z ends with Goku taking on the reincarnation of Buu as his student to train him to be his successor. Dragon Ball GT ends with Goku flying off with Shenlong out of existance for 100 years and then returning after those 100 years as an adult and flashbacks of all three series' rolling by during the credits.

I don't know why everyone says Goku dies all the time, he only died twice.

Ridley-X4, I suggest you give it a try and watch from the beginning. Or read the manga. Its a good series.

I still laugh when people are asking if Dragon Ball Z is still airing in Japan. The franchise was finished off ten years ago in Japan. You'd think people would have realized that by now.
