Chimchar, as the leader, and a Tirtwig. For some reason I like the fire/grass combo. I also like the starters more than the normal type options.

Can I suggest you something: In my option, I think that the best starters are Water and Fire type. I tried the others and I didn't attempt to stop Luxray at the Amp Plain. In short, my starters are my legendaries Marty and Flamy (Mudkip and Cyndaquil)
