I can recall in the good ol' Kanto, Johto, and Orange Islands episodes that Pikachu was always Ash's #1 and battled with him often. But every time I see a newer episode, all Pikachu does is sit on Ash's shoulder until it's time to make Team Rocket blast off.

So what about you? Do you think they should bring some Pikachu action back?

And then your opposite numbers would complain that Pikachu gets too much battle/screentime and his Sinnoh Pokémon should get the glory and they'd feel the need to tell us with a completely unnecessary thread.

You can please some of the people all of the time, all of the people some of the time, but you can't please all of the people all of the time.

I don't mind that it's not getting a lot of screen time. Pikachu will be around until the end of the series while the Regional Team only gets two seasons at best to give it their all. There will be plenty of time for Pikachu to make up face time when the Regional Team's dumped.

I am glad Pikachu is getting less battling time in place of Ash's other pokemon. We see Pikachu in too many battles. I rather see his other pokemon battle.
