Where/how to get Lugia/Ho-Oh

They are non-event pokemons (unlike celebi) but you need to get a ticket FROM AN EVENT to get them.

Is there a way to get the tickets without cheating? Can it be traded to you by another person who got the ticket?

You can complete the dex even without mew, celebi, jirachi and deoxy becasue they are event pokemons but not Lugia and Ho-Oh.

Help.

you can get Ho-Oh from completing Colosseum and Lugia from finishing XD, if you wanted to shell out on 2 new games just to get those two. But there are more pokemons from G/S on them aswell

You have 3 choices:

1) Go to a 10th Anniversary event and have them transferred to your game.
2) Buy Colloseum and XD.
3) Wait for D/P and use the Global Trading Service to trade for them.

same here, will be offering legit clones of ho-oh and Lugia when wi-fi comes out from colo and XD. 'price' any crappy pkmon will do. I think it very unfair that nintendo restricts the availability of some pokemon.

I got a legit Ho-oh from Colo. and a legit Lugia from XD. I would suggest doing this, though if you have to buy a Gamecube, I'm not sure if it's worth it.

If a friend(s) of yours (someone you know who lives near you) has Colo and/or XD, get it from them onto Emerald, clone it, then return it to the person. Just another possibility to avoid buying those two games.

When I was at the JAA line I noticed a lot of people had non-sharked ho-ohs and lugias. I still wonder where they got them.

I got lucky and got the ticket transfered in my game(Woohoo now I have two legit Lugias and Ho-Ohs). Though the XD and Colleseum method is the easiest without cheating.

Trade with someone that has them for their data.
(That's what I had to do to get my last one...which was Kabutops)
