in episode #64 "snow way out" we see charmander heating up his friends and ash in the ice cave. but hey, what's charmander doing there? isn't he suppose to be charizard at that time?

First of all, wrong section. Second, I'm not sure why but the ep was just played later for some reason.

I really don't know but the only explaination i came to is what mondo TR said. maybe it was played way after other episodes.

It was suppose to be aired around the Porygon episode i believe but that got banned and pushed this one to the end of the season.

When "Electric Soldier Porygon" got banned, it resulted in "Pocket Monsters" going on a four-month hiatus in Japan from late 1997 to early 1998. Only thing is, Shogakukan had a Christmas special and a winter special all lined up in the schedule to air in the subsequent weeks after the Porygon episode, but the hiatus threw everything out of whack. Rather than air them when the show came back a few months later, TV Tokyo held "Rougela's Christmas" and "Iwaku as a Bivouac" over until December 1998 (airing them between "The Barrierd of the Pokémon Circus" and "Rival Showdown! Ookido Laboratory"). For whatever reason, when 4Kids got the whole first season, they didn't opt to put these episodes back in their correct order.

True, tch, I noticed that ep screwup too. 'twas strange. Wow, and I thought it only happened in my country. o.=.O

And I don't think it's the only one. If I remember well the ep before or after it was aired out of order aswell... *can't remember ep name and too lazy to look it up* dang. XD

Jesse explained it all correctly.

Ban caused the episodes to air out of order. 4Kids didn't air in right order, even when having dubbed the episodes some time before they aired in the US.
