Where would Xerneas's and Yveltal's home/resting place/settling area be in Kalos?

So the thing about legendary Pokemon is that they almost always make there home in a specific location or are associated with certain locations. In X and Y, Zygarde's home is the Terminus Cave but Yveltal and Xerneas might actually be the first legendary mascots who are actually not associated with any location. There is practically no mention of them in the Kalos region compared to say Palkia or Dialga being remembered as a statue in Eternia City or rumors of a Icy Dragon, Kyurem, striking fear near a town from a giant hole. It's kind of weird that Yveltal and Xerneas don't really have much of a presence in there own games. That being said, we do know that Yveltal, the Pokemon that steals life, sleeps as a cocoon and Xerneas, the Pokemon that gives life, hides by disguising itself as a tree. That's about it really. There is not a single location that is hinted to be any of these Pokemon's resting place only that we know that they stow away somewhere in Kalos as a Tree and Coccoon.

So. Where do you think Xerneas and Yveltal would make it's home or resting place at in Kalos?

They say that Xerneas shares the last of its remaining power to those around it before going to sleep into its tree form. Yveltal does the opposote, sucking life away it before receding into a cocoon...I would guess that Xerneas' tree would be found in the most lush and verdant part of the Region, and that Yveltal's cocoon would lie in the most desolate. But the both of them are also listed in the Kalos Dex as being part of the Mountain Region. If we follow that, then our options are limited to Routes 13 - 21.

So...Winding Woods for Xerneas, and the Badlands for Yveltal...???

That actually makes a lot of sense if we take into account there is no way a forest full of life like that one would be able to survive in the middle of that cold and harsh enviroment. Unless, of course, Xerneas brought life to there.

In Pokemon Adventures X and Y, they show a very unique way of where Xerneas and Yveltal in there Tree and Cocoon Form are located. In the same exact same location serving as a balance to each other. Xerneas's Tree Form at the very top and Yveltal's Cocoon Form underneath Xernea's Tree Form in the soil. I thought it was a pretty cool portrayal of the two but it really doesn't give a good answer where there located at it, only that they could possibly be in the same exact location. Actually seeing the two found in there Tree and Cocoon forms in an actual resting place in Pokemon Adventures gave me the idea and curiosity for this thread.
