Where's Misty?

I love(d) Misty. Everytime that I see her on the intro, I get sad.

Misty was the best (May is good but she is no Misty and Max should die)

Is she never coming back? I hope she does.
Also, is there any word on the next season of Pokemon?

PS. Damn Kids WB for not giving Pokemon anymore on weekdays, why did they do that? I love the intors.

Still, that topic won't be very welcome out there either. It's been done to death...

I'll be blunt. Misty's character was growing stale as she became nothing more than a cheerleader, and besides the Whirl Cup, no effort was put into furthering her goal. Not that she was a bad character... but they wanted to start anew, and Misty was just too stagnated already.

That's bound to happen to Brock soon too...
