I think they all have more or less the same area, so it depends more on the most practical shape. Concordantly, while some may appear to have larger areas, they actually have abot the same area as the smalles bases, just arranged differently.
What you want is a short, wide room instead of a long, narrow one. The one on the route east from Fortree City has probably the best internal arrangement, and it also exists in the area north-west of Fortree, just it's not really accessed easily.
Have a look around, and choose the one which will be most practical for the items you want to put in it. If you want 2 slides and a stand in it, you're not going to get one of those "long, winding passage" kinds of bases.
Apart from the one next to Fortree, I also recommend the one on Route 110 (on the island) which is fairl large.

yep. the bases around fortree are huge. your best bet is one of them. also, on the island south of mauville where there is a sign saying "Team Magma/Aqua Rulez" the secret base in the tree behind that is really good.
The biggest bases are perhaps the ones that require boards to get anywhere; there's one like that in a cave near the waterfall on Route 119 if you're coming down from Fortree.
But since using a board means you can only fit in 15 other decorations, I usually avoid spots such as that.

Thx! I think its like a table where you can put a doll on top of it. Not necessary.

I made a labyrinth so there is one way to get to me, after I mixed records^^.

The bases west of fortree are pretty big but my favourite is the tree base on the water below mauville, I think it's route 110 you only need surf to get there.
