I don't remember, but I definitely remember some of them did.

Togekiss shocked me a bit, and I HATED its design. But now, meh its alright...

For me, I think it was Gallade, because Psychic/Fighting combo was so odd.

Also, Gallade isn't as cute as the others (Ralts, Kirlia and Gardevoir).

Mmm... I guess most of the Kanto & Johto Pokemon that were given an evolution in 4th gen. Rhypherior (right spelling?) was the one that shocked me the most, because I don't see any resemblance at all from Rhydon. (except for its drill)

Well Rhydon was kinda A attacker/wall so they just made it focus on that I guess

Agreed found it to be an ugly evo for an awesome pokemon. Ambipom slightly shocked me, it took me awhile to like its design.
