which game is the better one?

i havent bought xd yet and im not sure if im going to. for the people who've played both, which is better, colossium or xd?

If you're a rabid Johto fan or love the legendary dogs/Lati@s/Ho-oh, stick with Colosseum.

If you want to have decent movesets on your Pokemon, need to cover your bases and account for the Pokemon from versions you lack, or have one hell of a time getting Safari Zone Pokemon, go for XD.

While I've only played XD (sorry), I found it to be an enjoyable experience overall. Colosseum has its woes that would detract me from buying it...unless I could get some damn good price for it.

XD. Definitely. Unless you're a 2nd Gen freak, XD is a much better game in every respect. Polished graphics and plot, exclussive moves, capability of getting most exclussive Pokémon in one go, hard Items and Pokémon made easy to get... just the best utility for Trainers.

I just got it, and it fixed every thing where Colosseum failed (Despite the main character and most villains sucking balls when compared with the all-awesome Wes and the Colosseum villains...). I'm loving it in every way!

I personally can say that XD is the best buy. But again, if you don't have access to some 2nd Gen Pokémon and love them too much to not have them, Colosseum might be a better choice. Plus, it has a Battle Mode a la Stadium, which XD lacks (Not that it needs it anyway. :D). Your decission, but I say XD.

Personally I liked the plot and most everything else of colloseum better. I mean they didn't just make another game with the kid that starts out with the professor in the labratory. Now XD probably has the better story, but I liked the fact that you start out at a higher level, had a character that actually had backstory, and had in my opinion, a better story. Oh, and you also get the colloseum mode, which is like stadiums one and two.

I think XD is the better game because Colousseum gets repetetive after a while.
