When I first got Pokémon Ruby I loathed it because it didn't have the day/night/week system of GSC and you had to go to different towns for the contests. I never completed Ruby and sold it to a pawn shop so I could buy another game. However, after playing my sister's copy of Fire Red a little I grew to respect RSE much more. Anyway, I picked up Emerald and I loved it. It feels like a more complete game than Ruby was and it has wireless support. ^_^

Definitely emerald as the battle frontier variety increases its replay value.

Emerald because you can always have diffrent things to do. In rs it is just win the contests, complete pokedex, finish league geld gold symbol, train some thats all. In emerald, those things are hell a lot of entertaining than rs thanks to new ideas. They take longer and frontier is hard to finish. It is simply more fun.\

EDIT: Did anyone else noticed that rubys poll bar is red and sapphires blue. Something wierd is going on o_0 0_0 0_o

I was going to forget the upgraded Safari Zone, it is more fun than in R/S, once before E4 and than again after E4, I like this thing.

I like playing Emerald the most because of all the revamps plus Battle Frontier, but of course, none of my games will ever have a file as close to greatness as that of mine on Sapphire.

Emerald!! The whole battle frontier makes it that much more fun, plus the fact that you can challenge the gym leaders again and again after you beat the elite four.

Anybody who's actually played all three would definitely say emerald. There is so much more to do and it's just a better game in most aspects.

are you people insane? yeah sure emerald has better features but if RS didnt exist then emerald would not anyway my fave is sapphire beacuse it wa my first eva 3rd gen and the first time you play the next gen it overwhelms you so yeah sapphire but emerald has better gameplay but sapphire was the first 3rd gen i played i think i havew said to much now.... oh and i have a prediction when DP comes out you will get them/it and then when its 3rd game like emerald crystal yellow you will probably like that better my prediction will happen!
