I know this has been done before, but I was thinking of making topics and polls of my own on which starter is your favorite based on each form. Now remember, each of you will obviously have opinions on this and I will have mine as well.

So this topic is which of the Hoenn Starters do you like based on their middle stage only? Mine is Combusken.

Combusken's hated for it's looks and it's downright underestimated in Torchic's middle stage. I voted it because it's a fire-fighting type, so cool.

I do not like the Torchic line very much, it ranks pretty average on my overall choice of starters and I don't usually choose it whenever I play through Hoenn unless I really want to use Ludicolo because that early game Fire-Water-Grass combo in two Pokemon is sweet (especially ones who are three stage evolutionary lines). Combusken however is my favourite from that line, I think because of the claws and the headpiece? May's Combusken was really cool in the anime with Mega Kick and Sky Uppercut, and it just seemed like a Pokemon who could fight properly. I like Marshtomp and Grovyle too, they're pretty awesome looking, but Combusken takes it for me!

Admittedly, I'm not particularly enthralled with any of them. I suppose Numacraw (Marshtomp) at least has meme appeal, so that's the closest one to being my favorite.
