Which Pokemon deserve more screentime? (May contain spoilers)

Okay...

So, which Pokemon DESERVE more screen time.

I'd say...

Porygon2

Porygon2's the only one I can think of now... Well... Let's keep this poll alive... And I'll post when I think of things...

EDIT:

*needed to add Cyan colors*

Porygon 2 needs screentime period.

Aswell as Dunsparce (appeared once or twice), Cubone (only remember once in that Kanto school) and others I can't think of right now.

Medea

Excalibur
Here are the pokemon I think should get more screentime...

Porygon/Porygon2 (duh)
Clefable
Dunsparce
Ponyta/Rapidash
Shuppet

Stalker!
Jupetta~ <3 The only one we've seen (to my knowledge) was Harley's. And how much screentime did Jupetta-chan get? Like, three minutes. Bah humbug.

And Upaa, just because I can never get enough of it. ^.^ The only time we see them is in the background playing or sleeping, with the exception of that one Jouto episode. I wanna see someone train a bada*s Upaa! Or it could be a contest pokemon. =3

Venomoth, Pinsir, Ledian, Yanma, Forretress, Shuckle, Nincada, Ninjask, Shedinja, Illumise, Kabuto, Kabutops, Omanyte, Omastar, Aerodactyl, Anorith, Armaldo, Murkrow, Sneasel, Tyranitar, Sableye, Carvahna, Sharpedo, Absol, Vibrava, Lanturn, Electrike, Manectric, Primeape, Hitmonchan, Tyrogue, Breloom, Makuhita, Ninetales, Ponyta, Rapidash, Quilava, Numel, Camerupt, Doduo, Natu, Xatu, Jumpluff, Delibird, Misdreavus, Shuppet, Banette, Duskull, Exeggutor, Sunkern, Lileep, Cradily, Cubone, Marowak, Piloswine, Wigglytuff, Lickitung, Blissey, Kangaskhan, Porygon, Porygon 2, Girafarig, Granbull, Stantler, Smeargle, Exploud, Delcatty, Zangoose, Castform, Qwilfish, Drowzee, Hypno, Ralts, Kirlia, Gardevoir, Slowking, Grumpig, Claydol, Sudowoodo, Nosepass, Relicanth, Mawile, Feebass, Huntail, Gorebyss....

....give or take a few others who I've probably forgotten. Most of those are for general screentime, but there are still a lot of regulary seen pokémon that are yet to be used in a decent battle. Ursaring and Electrode spring to mind.

Though, if we're talking about the pokémon in each of the main character's possession...

Ash needs to use Torkoal, Glalie and the rest of his Catch n' Oaks, which is a redundant no-brainer these days.
Haruka needs to be using 'shamo a lot more than she does, as the rest of her pokémon already get decent enough screentime.
I don't care if Brock uses his pokémon for battle as long as they do SOMETHING.
Jessie should bring out Dustox a lot more, and use Wobbuffet as a battler.

Thats about it.

I agree 100% on your list, Gravy. But then, I usually do find a tasty sauce used to increase the flavour factor of a meat dish agreeable.

Especially Nosepass. If I recall correctly, it hasn't had one appearence since it's... what? 6-7 minutes on-screen in the Roxanne Gym Battle? Not even a cameo.

Oh, sure. It appeared in a flashback. But that doesn't count. I mean, seriously, Not even a 'Appear in the background' Pokemon.

Ralts appeared in the background in the recent Harley episode. Foreshadowing to Max getting Ralts?!

?!

Do my eyes deceive me? No.... I looked through that list twice. You actually left off Nokotchi, the one Pokemon I constantly hear you complain about getting no screen time. My god, Gravy neglected Nokotchi. The world is going to end, run for your f***in' lives!

Anyway, why's Muma on that list? It appeared like 5 times (for a Jouto Pokemon, that's pretty good.... I should be saying the same thing about Delibird for that matter, but I guess it has a reason for being there since an appearance hasn't popped up throughout all of Houen and the Battle Frontier), and was out of its ball for nearly every scene on the Crystal special (and did something useful for one scene in the form of Perish Song). Don't forget, it very recently participated in a battle during the Saiyuu tournament, and even showed off the use of Destiny Bond. Garagara participated recently in the Saiyuu tournament as well (might as well be putting Azumaou up there, since its one battle in Adan's gym was hardly enough). And it's hard to believe you mention Okorizaru and Nasshii, but not their pre-evolutions, Mankey and Tamatama, which we see even less of (hell, their feature Kantou episodes just had them appear, then evolve about halfway into it).

On the subject of the "Catch n' Oaks", don't you think Kabigon should be an exclusion? Also, if you're bringing up the main characters' lesser-used Pokemon in a seperate section, then why was Foretos in your previous list?

On the subject of Satoshi's Pokemon, I'd like to bring up the ones he formerly owned... Laplace has never done much other than be a ferry when he had it, and we never really saw another Laplace since. As for Butterfree, in the whole series, that thing has never once used a psychic-based attack, which is pretty much its only naturally-learned offense in the games (besides Tackle and Gust).

Yeah, ok!
Why is Hitmonchan on your list Gravy? It's been in so many episodes by now. It's last appearance was just recently too in the BF episode with Ash and May battling in the Fighting Dojo (Hitmonchan Vs. Hitmonlee).

probably because, in comparison to Sawamular, Ebiwaler doesn't show up near as much. However, Kapoera doesn't appear much either, and Barukii takes the cake for least-appeared Pokemon of that family.

Has anyone ever told you that you're awesome? =0

Nosepass = love. FACT.

Heh, wouldn't it be amusing if it was the same Ralts that Masato promised to go back for? :p

If I haven't posted here tomorrow, then you'll know that the enraged land snake gods will have burnt me to a cinder for not spreading the word of the prophet Dunsparce. Pray that they take mercy on my pitiful, non-winged, scale-less soul ;_;

Ayway, why's Muma on that list? It appeared like 5 times (for a Jouto Pokemon, that's pretty good.... I should be saying the same thing about Delibird for that matter, but I guess it has a reason for being there since an appearance hasn't popped up throughout all of Houen and the Battle Frontier), and was out of its ball for nearly every scene on the Crystal special (and did something useful for one scene in the form of Perish Song). I dunno...I guess I just feel its inadequately represented. Apart from the Raikou special (in which it was overshadowed by a lot of other pokémon anyway imo) I can't say anything else its done in the series has been memorable in any way. Even if it did manage to sneak in the first use of Destiny Bond during Kaede's match, it barely even put up a fight. Every other time its just been a random filler pokémon or seen as rather inept compared to a lot of other ghost types.

Delibird hasn't really done much, bar two episodes and a (?) special, so it too could stand for some more appearences.

Garagara participated recently in the Saiyuu tournament as well (might as well be putting Azumaou up there, since its one battle in Adan's gym was hardly enough). And it's hard to believe you mention Okorizaru and Nasshii, but not their pre-evolution, Mankey and Tamatama, which we see even less of.
True, true. But never the less, its still had quite a limited amount of appearences. Apart from this instance and way back in Kanto, I can't recall a Marowak doing anything of any real significance. It got a decent battle out of the Houen league perhaps, but its still a dreadfully underused character.

And I DID say I probably missed one or two XP;
On the subject of the "Catch n' Oaks", don't you think Kabigon should be an exclusion? Also, if you're bringing up the main characters' lesser-used Pokemon in a seperate section, then why was Foretos in your previous list?
Concerning Snorlax. Yes. It should be excluded from the Catch n' Oak roster.
As for Forretress being part the main list....its because I tend to make very sloppy mistakes from time to time :p

Bingo. Though I have to disagree with Hitmontop. I can remember it hanging around on numerous occassions.

The 'yenas need some portrayal in a POSITIVE light. Because Wolves > Life.

And Typhlosion too. I heart flaming mustelids.

King Ghidora

Your mom.
Primeape, God Damnnit! >_<
Mankey
Primeape
Tangela
Drowzee
Hypno
Porygon
Nosepass
Hariyama
Pinsir

And The "'yenas" are Hyenas. Isn't it obvious? O_0

Gravy said most of it... :D

Still, I think Miltank needs to make a cameo or something. The only one I remember vividly is Whitney's... [/Expected Whitney reference] ;)

And Gardevoir. Such a cool and hot Pokémon, which would kick serious butt in any battle... recluded to a single episode. More Gardy plz... :(

Walrein needs more appearances too, if I recall correctly...

Um, aside from being used by various Aqua members, it also acted as Kaede's final obstacle (unlike Muma, it accomplished quite a lot) during the best damn battle in the Saiyuu tournament. That should account for something.

There was also the double battle that took place just before the infamous Groudon and Kyogre two parter. Though honestly the only reason I remember that is due to an animation error involving one of its tusks being colored blue.

Medea

Excalibur
Oh crap, I totally forgot Gardevoir. To my knowledge, we only saw it once in that Max/Ralts episode.

Encyclopika

The Queen
Porygon and Porygon 2...did we even SEE Pory 2? O_O!!
And we need some episodes for Kirlia and Gardevior...what was that cramming crap all about? >.> And then we have cramming again with the Hoenn prehistoric Pokemon. >=( I want more Cradily!
*Agrees with Gravy's list* It's pretty pathetic to see that most of the beginning of that list goes to the bugs. ;_;
