Which Pokemon Game Should I Purchase?

Well I have a birthday coming up soon and I need to make a decesion on what PKMN game to buy.Here's the choices,and please don't suggest anything else unless they are in the selected choices.

1st-Choices

Ruby-Had traded in to GameStop.

Sapphire

Fire Red-Had traded in to GameStop.

Leaf Green

Emerald

Get Emerald - it lasts longest 'cause of the Battle Frontier.
Unless you're one of those people wo are in love with Red/Blue, then I say go get FR/LG - also great and lasts a long time.

I say ya should get Emerald b/c it has everything that Ruby and Sapphire do and then some(like both Kyogre and Groudon on one game pack w/out trading OooOOoOoOoOoH AAAaaAaAaaH!).

Emerald. Hell yes. If the Battle Frontier ain't enough reason, you also get both Groudon and Kyogre, as well as getting lots of Johto Pokemon in the post-E4 Safari Zone extension.

Emerald without a doubt. There's a ton of things you can do in it, post or pre E4. It's an excellent game, and probably the longest lasting one.

Failing that, XD is also an amazing game. A good variety of Pokémon and an involving plotline is always nice.

If neither of those appeal to you, then I guess FR/LG. I advise against it, though, because there's precious little to enjoy in it post-E4. And overall, the game is rather short and bland =/ Still, if you're a Kanto Loyalist, then go for it, you'll enjoy them.

I would recommend R/S, but Emerald kind of outclasses them because it's a combo of the two but amplified. Meh

Emerald. Battle Frontier, Kyogre AND Groudon, Safari Zone extensions. And don't forget if you fill the Honen Dex you'll get a choice of the Jhoto starters. And Volt Tackle! Don't forget Volt Tackle! And there's so much more...Check the main site for everything else. However, the only bad thing about Emerald is that it has terrible amimations. Bleh.

Emerald plz. All has been said. Unless you're too nostalgic for your own good. Then get FR/LG.

I'd recommend XD as well, but if you think you won't like a game that's pretty much completely different from the way the handhelds are played, then refrain from it. We have enough blankety haters as-is...
