Which Starter Should I Choose

I plan to buy ruby soon and I want to know which one to pick.

I had ruby before and I had Blaziken. I've also beaten the game with Swampert.

Sceps a cool starter i would go with him but it's your choice.

Better set for Sceptile:
Nature: Timid
-Leaf Blade
-Thunderpunch
-Leech Seed
-Substitute/Dragon Claw/Crunch

I'd go for either Blaziken or Swampert since they have good movesets that don't require breeding (only TM's/Tutors), and if you don't have access to a Rock Slide tutor for Blaziken, go for Swampert with
-EQ
-Surf
-Ice Beam
-Rest

then you can breed up a Treeko and a Torchic with the right egg moves.

The game will be much harder starting with Treecko.

Save yourself the trouble, and use Blaziken again.

He wont be able to get Thunderpunch for Sceptile, since he's getting ruby, not emerald.

Remember that Sceptile works best with bred-on moves (i.e. Leech Seed). You may not want to train your Treecko until you access the breeding center (which is actuall quite early in the game).

Get Leaf Blade, Dragon Claw, Leech Seed, Detect/Crunch/filler.

Sceptile i think the best starter Swampert 4x the grass Blaziken has bad defence so i think Sceptile is the best
