I have all nine starters on my Emerald game. Can you guys tell me which of each type is the best?

Choose one: Charizard, Typhlosion, Blaziken
Choose one: Blastoise, Feraligater, Swampert
Choose one: Venusaur, Meganium, Sceptile

I was kind of leaning towards Typhlosion, Swampert, and Venusaur. But I don't know which are the best and which become more powerful. Thanks in advance.

I was Thinking Swampert for Water and Sceptile for Grass because of Swamperts only Weakness to Grass and its got a Good Movepool. Also With Sceptile it has a good Movepool and high Sp. Attack but i don't know one for Fire

i agree with arena tycoon slaking, but as for the fire, i'd go with Blaziken, it's got all of thos fighting moves available, then again, Charizard has flying as well as metal claw, so i'd say choose between those two, i like typhlosion, i just don't think it has as much flexability as the other two.

Take one from each, and it's glaring obvious you should take Bulbasaur, Cyndaquil and Mudkip.

Okay maybe it's not glaringly obvious - but Swampert has a great dual type and good moveset...and Cyndaquil, because it owns (I have a Cyndaquil on my gold game for the sheer reason I can scream "BAKU" when it comes to battle). Then Bulbasaur because it's a good pokemon and evens it out.

Since I have all 9 starters as well as having 383 in my pokedex in all games, I'd go with torchic in R/S/E since it can get by the pesky bugs earlier on and I can always trade over level 5 pokemon of desired types to help out until they disobey. In FR/LG, charmander hands down so I can at least go after suicune, the easiest of the 3 legendary dogs to capture.

Fire:Typhlosion's good, but because he's hard to use and switch in. And what it can do, Charizard can do better. That just leaves Charizard vs. Blaziken. Tough decision, really. But I'd have to go with Charizard, because it's faster, has a better movepool, and can resist any Fighting attacks Blaziken throws at it.
Winner:Charizard

Water:For a UU Pokemon, Blastoise is good, but extremely predictable. That, and Suicune completely overshadows it. Feraligatr, on the other hand, is UN-predicatable, but pretty much unusable in the OU metagame due to his stats. Swampert is easily the cream of the crop, due to the Electric and Sandstorm resistance.
Winner:Swampert

Grass:Meganium is probably the worst of the starters. Like Feraligatr, he's unusable in OU, and he's basically a stripped down version of Venusaur. That leaves Venusaur vs. Sceptile. Sceptile may be the best staller in the game, but Venusaur beats it every time. He can put Pokemon to sleep, poison them. . . do all kinds of stuff.
Winner:Venusaur

Grass - Venusaur. No posion weakness and is severly underestimated.

Fire - Blaziken. Just edges Typhlosion for having dual typing and a pretty decent movepool. Pkus one of the few Pokemon who make Overheat look damn fine.

Water - Swampert. No Electric weakness, fun to use and is generally a good mixed sweeper.
