Who are you rooting for - Diantha or Lance?

I would like to check how many people really want to support one of the people in the Masters Tournament - the duel Lance vs Diantha.
I chose Diantha because there would be no dragon specialists in the semi-finals, as long as Cynthia wins with Iris - probably for sure.
So I will be cheering for Diantha.

Given that he was the Rank 2 finisher last year, it would be amazing if he could be the one who initially pushes Leon in the semi-finals by bringing in a new Mega Like Latios/ Salamance/ MCY etc as a surprise.

Would be even more perfect if Lance invites Ash for a training match at the Indigo Plateau, right before the finals.

This honestly would be cool, but I don't see it happening.

They nuked Lance's personality to 'stoic Dragon-master'.. and Ash doesn't really work well with that type of character..

Also, I don't think the writers would allow for a random trip to Kanto while the arc is ongoing. In my eyes that's exactly why they brought in Paul when they did.

I voted for Diantha because, unless Lance is actually going to beat Leon, the only shred of evidence of that happening being the fact that in the battle with Paul, Paul had a Gyarados, a Pokémon Lance has but that Leon has not shown at all, rather than a Charizard or some other Pokémon, while Paul's other two were the aces of Steven and Cynthia in Metagross and Garchomp, respectively, there is no reason for Lance to rematch with Leon if he won't win since we've already seen Leon beat him in the series. And I doubt that if Lance faced him a second time, that he would win since the animé seems to be setting up Ash to fight Leon for the crown in the finals. At least if Diantha faces off against Leon, even though we are 99.99999999% certain of the outcome, it would not be a rehash of a previous battle and would, in my mind, have more hype behind it, even though the outcome would be a foregone conclusion.

I like both characters and don't really tend to favor one or the other, but in this case I think that it would be unfeasible for the series to have two and the only two Kalos reps lose in the first round; also since we've already seen Leon battle against Lance. My vote goes to Diantha.
