Umm, I think that Tauros is impossible without cheating.

1812. for the record, that's the absolute maximum that any nonlegendary pokemon can have. but that's a flawless-IV slaking with a + on it's highest stat (attack) and a - on it's lowest (SDef)

tyranitar barely beats out metagross for second, with 1668 and 1666, respectively.

1508 for shuckle, for reference.

ubers too? 1826 for ho-oh/lugia/mewtwo, 1825 for rayquaza. everything else is lower than slaking.

posted on the other topic you made, quoted here for truth.

neither of the top two is actually possible. sala's max stat total is 1664, so obada and tauros are liars. chop them off the list, move everyone else up two spots.

PS: level 100 salamence, total 1627. yay, i beat master breeder EE and took what should be 2nd place! IVs of 21, 24, and 17 in the HP/Def/SDef, and flawless in both attacks and speed. @ adamant nature.

are you sure? i was playing with my friend and he got his carefully trained salamence to lvl 100 and his total stat was 1742...thats how we rate our pokemon, by the total stat. i am not jokin i was at his house for a sleep-over and he trained it from lvl 94 to 100 and he used NO CHEATING DEVICE!

no. with a lonely nature (boosts its highest stat, lowers its worst), the max stats (with 31 IVs in everything, and 252 EVs in Attack/Speed, 6 in HP) of a salamence are as follow:
HP:332
Attack: 405
Defense: 176
SAtk: 256
SDef: 196
Spd: 299
332+405+176+256+196+299 = 1664

could you post the nature and stats? (and EVs, if possible) i'll point out exactly how it's impossible.

I'm sorry but you lie. Assuming flawless IVs (and that you made an honest mistake calculating the ones mentioned in your post), the effort split which would yield those stats is: 232HP/252Atk/328Def/344Spd/156SpAtk/328SpDef. Not only do the EVs total to 1640 (more than three times what's allowed), but the Defense, Speed, and Special Defense are well past the 255 limit. What's the point of lying on the internet, anyway? I have to take a lot of crap like this in the SHC, too.
