I knew about EV's and didn't do it, until I relised how good it was. And now my whole teams EV trained!! Plus with PokeRUS and the Power Items it takes about an hour...

I'm a nerd :) yeah I'll admit it
I like training my teams this way. It gives me more of a challenge to try and outclass other EV-ers

Alright, if I train my feets by in running instead of doing weights to gain more speed, than i'm a nerd. I simply LOVE your logic man.

if you don't EV train but know about it then you are:
A)don't have about an hour of spare time; that's about as long as it takes with pokerus/power items and you can always get them off wifi
B)aren't going to be getting a wireless router ever
or
C) are a complete idiot

I only really do it when I can plan for it. I have to actually sit down, work out where I'm going to train, and count each point as it comes through.

I've done it once, with a Machamp. I defeated countless Starlys and Bidoofs, but when I gained a level my HP and Speed didn't change. I was NOT happy.

I know about EV training, sure. I thought about it seriously in my Diamond, bu LO AND BEHOLD! I have no idea where to train. The mainsite isn't updated with the est EV training place. Now, I'm in too deep and personal with my pokes to reset.

I think I'll save up for Pearl after I get my Wii.

Can anyone hook me up with an updated EV training list for D/P?

topaz archer, here are where i EV train, and are probably the best spots:

HP-cowgirl to the south of solaceon with 5 bidoof, or just kill random bidoof on route 201
Atk-first fisherman leading onto route 222, 2 gyrados, or kill random shinx on route 202
Def-ruin maniac's cave, geodude and hippopotas
SAtk-gastly at the old chateau
SDef-tentacool/cruel, everywhere
Spd-fisherman to the west of eterna with 6 magikarp, or kill random starly on route 201

I believe j_hunter's problem is that the Machamp could have already have been filled it's EV bonuses by training against other pokémon while training. Becaue basically if you take alot of time on leveling up, you're bown to get EV from Pokémons.

Answer to
A) I don't have hours to waste all the time because I'm not fortunate enough to have pokerus or any power items aside from Macho Brace.

B) Correction, HAD a wireless router, until it stopped working. -_-
C) *totally agrees*

You forgot
D) Are lazy
E) All of the Above
