Who is better, Gyarados or Milotic?

Okay, I just want to know which is better among the two most powerful non-uber/legendary water pokemon, Gyarados or Milotic?

Gyarados:
HP: 95
Attack: 125
Defense: 79
Sp.Atk: 60
Sp.Def: 100
Speed: 81

Advantages: Awesome physical sweeper and loses its weakness to grass, also has great special defense and has an awesome physical movepool.

Disadvantages: Special attack sucks and cannot make use of STAB and its good special movepool, has a 4x weakness to electric and only learns HP Flying as his flying move, which is really hard to obtain, thus not making use of its Flying STAB that much.

Recommended Nature: Adamant, Jolly

Milotic
HP: 95
Attack: 60
Defense: 79
Sp.Atk: 100
Sp.Def: 125
Speed: 81

Advantages: Awesome special attack and special defense, Marvel Scale trait which makes its defense near-godly, even godly, can make use of STAB well, two weaknesses which can be covered by its massive special defense and Hypnosis, Mirror Coat, Dragonbreath etc. Also can assume various roles in battle such as tank, special wall, double wall, special sweeper (many people tend to overlook this but look at its special attack, it's base 100!) and Salamence counter.

Disadvantages: Has a bad movepool that sometimes restricts it from being a sweeper (but has a good potential). Too high special defense to use Mirror Coat well.

Recommended Nature: Modest, Bold, Calm

I choose Milotic as it has STAB and can take down Salamence and co.

They have the same stats except Gayados has better attack.But I like Miltic better phisical.

It's obvious and simple in my mind at least Feebas and Magikarp are two both very sickly pokemon but they each evolve into the best pokemon in their area contests and battles! The only way to get magikarp to evolve is to treat him like a gyarados... battling and the only way to get feebas to evole is to treat it like a milotic... beauty pokeblocks

So who is better? Well it depends if you like contests or battling.

ST Milotic is more than enough to sweep teams, so I say Milotic.

Remember, Milotic´s defense get doubled when sleeping, add this a great HP and no psychical weakness, and KABOOM you can resist a lot of attacks!

Actually Gyarados' physical move pool is awful. The only to physical attacks he can make use of is Earth Quake and Return. Although, I still love Gyarados and his awesome capability to use Taunt and Dragon Dance. He's also much prettier then Milotic IMO.

Milotic can do a lot of tanking, but Gyrados demolishes with its attack. Pick what you need

Milotic, in-game, is far superior to Gyarados. It has access to an incredible movepool naturally, and with easily obtainable AND REUSABLE TMs and HMs, it can make a competitive moveset with little problem. Gyarados, on the other hand, only has access to HYPER BEAM as its only physical attack learned natural, excluding Thrash, which is only obtainable via catching Gyarados. It requires the expense of teaching it Earthquake, something it cannot pass via breeding to another Magikarp. That leaves Return as the only reliable high-powered move. Zangoose makes better use of it.

Competitively, Gyarados is a lot better; however, Milotic still reigns supreme.

Gyrados is a water type, so it needs more Special Attack. Milotic is Plain water, and has a high SP ATK stat, so Milotic is better in this situation.

Since Gyarados is Flying as well, and therefore gets 4x the damage with electric attacks, I'd say Milotic.
In contest, both have equal shots at coming in a high place, but I'd choose Gyarados since Milotic is basically forced to do Beauty contests since it evolves with a maxed out Beauty condition, while Gyara isn't and take on Beauty, Tough, and Cool. =\

Gyarados could beat Milotic one-on-one any day, and Intimidate is a great Ability IMO.

I personally think Milotic > Gyarados. Milotic just refuses to die in most cases.
