Well it seems May is the only option if the girl is being added. Because, they won't have two girls in the group because it is a shonen anime. Judging by the picture though, I think everyone may leave unforunately.

Personally, I think everyone will leave. I'd think Ash, May, Etc. would be in the poster feauturing D&P if he was going to be there.

If not, I hope she replaces Brock.

I still think May will stay because of Munchlax and she lost the Grand Festival again. Why did they have her purposely lose again if they didn't plan on keeping her?

If May leaves, then I find it extremely idiotic to give her an Eevee which never got to develop any decent character.
If Ash leaves, then all meaning will leave in the show as well. It began with Ash's journey and the show has been pretty much about this. Kicking him, and thus also Pikachu, out would ruin everything. Plus, he just got Aipom - Why if he has to leave anyway?

Brock and Max? Well, normally I would say there would be no May without Max, but then again... when BF started she didn't even consider having him with her. The chance is there for him to scurry off.
Brock is... there. :/

Heck, we could have a five members cast, but that would be pushing it.

Haruka would have won the Grand Festival if she was leaving. She isn't.

The only way we get a new cast is if they decide to have two anime. One with Satoshi/Haruka/them and one with the new characters.

People need to listen to common sense more.

Maybe they'll have a cliffhanger and then they'll all be seen in part 2. Don't use that Haruka would've won the GF line. Because they can always have a timeskip showing the old characters and introducing a new trainer in part 2. Though I really hope it doesn't happen.

Are there Contests in the D/P games? If they are, then she'll stay. I just hope that at worst, they're like they were in Emerald.

Please don't let them replace Ash. not that i'm an ash fan its just that hes the main character and if they replace him it'll be the end of the show. cos it will just be like how Digimon and all those crappy ones went down.
Plus no satoshi-tachi means no rocketto-dan and i for one would rather sell me soul to davey jones then have that happen.
unless they give them a worthy ending, a nice happy one

I highly doubt they would replace Ash. Now if there were a SEPARATE series, Id get it. I dont think Ash or May will leave. I see even Max staying. I find Brock leaving and than the new DP girl coming in. They probably just want to scare us. I highly doubt they would can Ash now. Especially since this isnt a league battle.

Yeah... where the GS Ball will be opened, and where Ash meets his dad and chooses a girlfriend. (Well, I wish at least the first one.)

If everyone did stay and there would be a group of five, maybe Shinou would have bigger Pokemon Centers, allowing there to be more than four beds in a room. (Hey, the D/P centers in the games have a lower floor, what's a bigger room?)

But you see, the Gonbe excuse is no longer valid when you use it to say May will stay with the group and Brock will leave, as he has a D/P Pokemon as well D:

For me, Brock. Pffft, the animators dont need to paint/use stock backdrops anymore, as Brock's been the most interesting one I've seen in the last 4 years.

This is surpising, all I know is that ASH BETTER NOT BE REPLACED. I dont care whether you like him or not but you people have to agree with me that we've been following the kid for many years and his goal has yet to be accomplished. He hasn't even won a league yet besides orange league which many people dont consider a big deal. We know he's doing very good, hes got powerhouses left and right on his side. They can't replace him, if he is replaced then I most definetly wont be watching the anime any more. I've watched it because advanced generation has been really good, with both ash and may. I still hope to see ash mop the floor with richie but if they take him off then that wont happen. Man im so pis*ed off right now its not even funny.
If anything i dont care take may off or brock or max i dont give a damn but not Ash, no way.

I want Ash to stay. I even want May to stay. I dont think hes being replaced. Its probably just advertising the new girl. Im sure next month you will probably see them together on a poster.
